I set 6 goals when I started losing weight. I hit my first goal (get under 300lbs) 2 weeks ago and I have about 12.5 pounds to go before I hit my 2nd goal (lose 50 lbs). Quite honestly, every 10 I lose is a small victory for me. It just means 10lbs closer to my ultimate goal. =)

Next mini goal is 50 lbs. Half of 100 seems like a good goal. Then reaching 250lbs (losing 82). I have a total of 6 goals. 1 down, 5 to go!

So sorry for you loss! I lost my mother to bone cancer on May 1st. On May 14, I started MFP and I am down 32 lbs. I have known for ages that I needed to do something about my weight but never had the motivation until now. I hate that it took my mother dying to kick start my weight loss, but I know that she would be so…

I just can't believe that I am actually doing this! I've struggled with weight all my life and even though I know I have a lot more to lose, just knowing that I can and I am is incredible!
