  • I am not normally an apple eater but I like things like applesauce and the flavor of apples. I am sick of plain water too so I think I am going to give this a try. Thanks for sharing! I've found quite a bit on Pintrest myself but somehow missed this one!
  • I don't know if you can get PB2 but i believe if you can order it off amazon.com you should try it. I love it and I was a huge peanut butter fan. To me it tastes like fresh peanuts.
  • I am exactly the same way! I have tried to incorporate something small in the morning even if it's a fiber one bar. And then if I'm reallllly hungry at night I try to drink a full glass of water and then have something like a diet aw rootbeer. It cures my craving.
  • I cannot believe how freaking fabulous you look. I want to join the others and congratulate you on how much progress you've made. I KNOW how hard this is. I started at a bit higher thank you and hope to end where you are now. I appreciate seeing the progress because it helps give me an idea of what I can and will look…
  • I also buy them at Walmart, they used to be only up by the deli but now they are back near the bread with the other pretzels and chips. My favorite are the buffalo and now the jalepeno ones. They are exactly like flat pretzels and super yummy.
  • I saw that but I figured with zero calories it would stink pretty bad LOL. I do like PB2 though. Have you tried it? PB2 tastes just like fresh peanuts so I really like it. However, my hubby does not but when I took it to work to have the others try it they all agreed with me :)
  • Perhaps 90 min a day is too much. By that I mean you should be mixing cardio and weights in that 90 min. Not just straight weights. If you are mixing things up on a regular basis just remember it will get better. My back still KILLS me when I walk. But the pain is a lot less than it used to be. My knees and my feet no…
  • CueChick - I think you gave her some very wise information. Start with your physician and see what they have to say about your choice of exercise. Walking and swimming seem awesome but again check first. The other thing I was thinking about was maybe a stationary bike? Recumbant type even. That way your back has support by…
  • I enjoy a weekly Starbucks sugar free peppermint mocha. I also enjoy the sugar free carmel machiato. They both have calories though so remember to count them. They are in MFP database. Remember this journey isn't about removing foods for life, it's about learning to eat healthy and in moderation. Moderation of sugar free…
  • 6" on wheat no cheese turkey breast and black forest ham. All veggies plus jalapenos and banana peppers for spice and regular yellow mustard. Really low cal and spicy so it works for me. Now if you ask me what I'd prefer to eat LOLLLLLL that's a whole different sandwhich :)
  • 1. Do you have a Facebook? Yes 2. What do you like about Facebook? the ability to chat with my friends and share funny things with them and see photos of our families 3. About how many times a day do you look at Facebook? 3 to 4 4. On a scale of 1, 2, 3: How appropriate do you think your Facebook is to the eyes of future…
  • I read a very interesting article the other day. It talked about winter time approaching and how this is when people tend to not eat as well, not take care of themselves and overall energy levels drop. I think it made some good points. If energy is low then it's time to refocus on "us" and eat well, get enough sunlight if…
  • Well this is one way we do them in my house and I don't know if it's really for Thanksgiving or not but we take several sweet potatoes and cut them into chunks. I make a mix of olive oil, minced garlic (kind in the jar), shredded parm cheese, italian seasoning and a dash of salt and pepper. I wish I could give you amounts…
  • My new place is goodwill. I have gone from 3x scrubs to size xl and large. I don't find something every time I go (I'm extremely picky) but I've gotten quite a few scrub pants and some fabulous jeans.
  • We all go through spurts of feeling this way. The trick is to just put one foot in front of the other and keep going. Plan your meals, pack snacks and prepare your dinner schedule ahead of time. Just know you are not alone. We all feel this way at some point :)
  • I have enjoyed reading all of your stories. These are all really inspiring and you should be very very proud of yourselves. For me it's the fact that tonight I walked outside (37 degrees here) with my hubby through 2 different neighborhoods and at the beginning of this summer I could barely ride my bike that distance…
  • Diet AW Rootbeer. I don't care about all the so called people who say oh just give it all up. Well it's not that easy. We didn't get to this position overnight and giving up sugar doesn't happen over night either. First of all relax, take a deep breath and decide if it's sweets you want or if you need food in general.…
  • Honestly I know it's happend to me and to my friends as well. Don't be hard on yourself these things do happen and now you are going to be even more careful :) Take time to heal and spend some extra quality time with your family. HUGS!
  • I have a hard time getting my daughter to find something to eat for breakfast. She likes hot sauce maybe these will do the trick. Thanks for sharing.
  • I wonder if it makes a difference in white, brown or wild rice??? Any ideas? I've never been a white rice eater but I will eat brown or wild. I've tried to cut it out though simply for calories and at times I miss it.
  • I'm not normally a negative type person but this was my thought also. I know you posted last week and you have been told the same things over and over. You are NOT eating enough period. What bothers me is that you aren't listening. You are 18 years old, you work out very hard and you should be taking care of your body.…
  • Congratulations to you! It's awesome that you had to get a smaller size than you even realized you were.
  • I love anything buffalo style. I also love cauliflower so this is going to be awesome. Thanks for sharing :)
  • Surround yourself with support. Family, friends, MFP friends etc. If you have people who care about you and support you, it's so much easier.
  • Prior to May, I was in severe pain and could barely do 10-15 min walk in but I just kept trying. I was soooooooooooooooo tired all the time that I could barely function. I felt like I had no life, my kids are both really active in sports and I work full time plus I was taking a full load of college courses. One day I…
  • I agree, just being on here for about a week has helped me find out about PB2 which is my new favorite treat :)
