Ignore me... I always thought shin splints were constant pain. OH has brought me some ibuprofen, and some ice spray so I'll see if that makes any difference... Thanks everyone.

Stick to it honey. The weight will come off and in my opinion the smaller amounts the longer they stay off for. Keep talking to people; keep motivating yourself and reminding yourself why you are doing it. And more importantly, keep on smiling. I found I was skipping breakfast then an hour later was snacking on crisps and chocolate so I started taking yogurts to work and an apple I can't say I've noticed a difference in my weight as yet but I definitely feel better for it I think every person is different tho and you should listen to your body :) X

Hi Ya Thanks for coming back. I said that to him last night, but although his arms have gotten bigger, his waist hasn't shrunk... so... who knows. Are we doing it wrong though? This is the next question... He is allowed 1500 calories a day, yet if he burns an additional 400 he will eat more than his 1500 - should he not?…
