  • I'm happy to chop vegetables if someone else does the dishes!
  • I generally use Bob's Red Mill almond meal in place of panko. It doesn't get as crispy, but it's not made from flour, which I try to avoid. Just found this article about panko vs breadcrumbs.
  • For me, I try to eat the least processed possible. That's it.

  • Yup, like cee said, I've not only lost weight but my blood pressure is down 20 pts, my bloodwork was better, I have more energy, and I'm handling my depression better. I can eat more volume of clean foods so I'm always satisfied!
  • Hi I eat as clean as I can and never feel deprived. My food diary is public... check it out for ideas and feel free to send a friend request!

  • Hi, welcome! MFP is a great tool! I've been eating clean for about a year and have lost 75 pounds. Marta -- WOW!
  • Hi! I have a board on Pinterest of No Flour, No Sugar recipes: http://pin.it/sZ_c9Jz I haven't tried them all, but there are a ton of ideas.
  • Welcome to the clean eating group! I do my best to avoid processed foods but indulge once in a while. My food diary is open; feel free to check it out. Maybe you'll get some ideas... Glad you're here!
  • I have found incredible support and a way to deal with the emotional part of eating at Overeaters Anonymous. I went to my first meeting last July and have lost about 60 pounds. There are no food plans, just acceptance and understanding for anyone who walks through the doors. It may be helpful to have that kind of support…
  • What a great discussion. I just want to add that I've been in the same boat and last summer went to a therapist. He told me I'm a food addict flat out and suggested going to an Overeaters Anonymous meeting. I went grudgingly, but kept going back and have stayed in the program just about 9 months. I've lost about 60 pounds…
  • I'm pretty clean, you can add me too. I do eat some convenience foods but look for cleaner versions. I'm a recovering food addict so I avoid flour and refined sugars.
  • Yeah that's true! That's why the unhealthy ones are so addictive.
  • I'm a food addict in a 12-step recovery program and I cut out all sugars (and flours) last July. The cravings (and my attitude) were bad for a few weeks, but it's much easier now to pass them over. Family and friends are finally getting used to it and have not only stopped offering them to me, but think ahead about…
  • Great job! Happy birthday :flowerforyou:
