Balance Bars! (In particular: Cookie dough flavored). In my opinions, they are absolutely DELICIOUS! They don't taste like chalk, and aren't too gritty!! Love love love them!!!!

Hi, I am also just now rebounding from knee surgery, and wish you the best of luck! I just recently started to use the TDEE/BMR method and absolutely love it! It let's me eat to my fill (!!!!!) and also makes me very aware of what I am putting in my body! I was referred to the "spreadsheet" which does all the calculations…

Cookie dough flavored Balance bars! YUM!!!!

I usually weigh-in every day. I like to see how my eating from the day before might affect water retention, etc. and I am also able to catch a 2-3 day creep-up in the scale earlier to see if I need to change something. However, it does get annoying when your weight fluctuates a few pounds here and there (which is natural),…

Congrats! That is soooo awesome!! P.S. I need to go to a shoe store like that! :)

Thanks so much, chrissylovesc! I never though I would actually like running, or look forward to it, and now, I wake up excited to see if I can be even a little bit faster than before! You can definitely do it too, just go slow and steady, and before you know it you will be able to run a 5k!! (I am looking forward to being…

BUMP (definitely saving this for later!)!!!! I use Jello fat free pudding mix all the time, and never thought to add protein! Genius!

Since I have plenty of weight to lose (~60lbs) I am currently eating at my BMR. So I try to get <50 calories within my goal on the low end, and approximately 100 calories if I am going above (but this is rare). I dont worry too much about going a bit higher, but if I am a bit low, I try to eat a small low cal snack in…

^^^^THIS. The road map is fantastic, and very user friendly! It helped me a lot!

You were pretty before, but you are absolutely gorgeous now (because you look so much happier!)! Congratulations on your amazing accomplishment! :)
-
That's a great accomplishment! Keep it up! :)

I lost 6.1 inches after only 10 days of level 1. I only lost about 2 lbs, but that made sense since I feel like I put on some muscle! I decided to take a break before level 2 though, because that high impact really hurt my knees! I'm looking forward to finishing it, though! :) Good luck!

You are amazing for doing this! Run one for me!! :)

Seafod/Shrimp Ceviche! You's be surprised how tasty and low in calories it is! Between 200-300 cal a cup!!
-
You can definitely do this!! Like many people on here have already said, the first time you try anything, it will be very hard, but I promise you that it gets easier (and you get better and better at doing it!) I am currently 96 kgs (211 lbs) and today, I ran my first ever mile without any breaks (5 months after having my…

Wow!!! That is a phenomenal weight loss! Congratulations and keep it up! :)

^^^^^^^THIS!!!!! I'm sick of feeling self conscious of going to the gym because I'm worried about what I might be doing slightly different than the average person, and wondering if I may have offended someone in someway by either walking backwards on the treadmill, or taking it a little slower on some of the machines,…

Oh wow!!! SO many great ideas! Sounds like it will be a fun month of trying them all out and finding my favorites! Thanks for sharing, everyone! :)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 Read that link. It's a great tool, and goes through a step by step process of exactly how to set the right calorie goals for you! Good luck!

Yeah, I've definitely been through this too! Three years ago I was very serious about losing weight, and by eating right and working out like crazy (Twice a day!) I lost 35lbs in 2 months! I got tonnes of compliments, felt so good in my skin and was so happy by the fast progress and how quickly my hard work paid off.…

If you use the spreadsheet, and you have an inconsistent exercise schedule, it doesn't change the numbers too much (unless your exercise regimen is very hardcore). If you add in your stats, and your estimated minutes per week of exercise, and then you try fiddling with it, you will see that it gives you a number around 100…

Hi, I just recently started to use the TDEE/BMR method and was having a lot of trouble understanding it as well. I was referred to the "spreadsheet" which does all the calculations for you (you just need to put in your exercise amounts for the week, and it calculates the net amount of calories you should be eating. You can…
