I just finished day 2 of level 1 yesterday, and enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to seeing the results!

^^ This times 10. People just need to mind their own business at the gym. Let everyone else do what they want/what works for them. You don't know their back story, their experience level...or anything about them!

There is nothing wrong with this... I am currently in the process of recovering from a few major knee injuries, and walking backwards on a treadmill is one of the best ways to straighten out your knee and stretch your hamstrings if you are recovering from knee surgeries. Overall it's also a great knee exercise in general.…

First and foremost: I am so proud of you for posting this! People think that eating disorders are something very taboo- and should not be discussed...this is not true! You are very brave for putting yourself out there! And secondly, it is so amazing that you are now on the road to recovery! It is very impressive that you…

This is absolutely so wonderful! I am looking forward to this roller-coaster, because the end result will definitely be worth it! Thanks so much for posting! :)

^ On top of the other reasons, this too!

I definitely love to get ideas from my friends' diaries. And, if I have been slacking, it puts things into perspective- and motivates me to eat better (in fear that they might be looking at mine as well) - It keeps me accountable! :)
-
My weight fluctuates around 4-5 lbs in any given day, depending on time of day, what I ate, how much water I drank...even though I stick very closely to my calories! I wouldn't worry too much about it! And I wouldn't weigh daily either- because it can be fairly discouraging! Just stay off the scale for another week, and it…

I'm 5'6, and currently weigh 213. I'm aiming for 155 for now, but will definitely adjust it once I get there, depending on how I feel!

I love to add avocados to scrambled eggs! Delicious combination! I also like to use it as a spread, and definitely love it with grilled chicken (like a chicken/avocado salad)! :) And "bump" is just something people do to mark a certain thread so that it comes up on their profile- that way you can easily go back to it!…

You are never too old!

That's awesome to hear! Good for you! I am hoping to see some changes too...but it sure has been slow-going!
-
^^^ Haha. Amazing.

Just shake it off, and keep at it! Everyone has those bad days or weeks, those weak points, and those regrets...but you need to get past what's done, and re-focus! If you are sick, and it hurts to breathe, you might just want to focus on your eating for a few days until you feel better. Drinking more water will definitely…

-
I just posted a couple of days back about this! Feel free to add me, I just had my ACL reconstructed a few months ago...and am hoping to finally kick it into high gear and get back in shape!!
-
Thanks for the reassurance, everyone! I will be sticking between 1700-1800 cal then! It's hard to get out of that archaic mindset of eating as little as possible to lose weight...probably the reason why I keep yo-yoing! I am learning more and more everyday, thanks to MFP and the wonderful people on here :).
-
Oh whoops! That was dumb of me! Thanks! :)
-
Thanks for clarifying! I do like to add in my exercise calories, so I might stick to the MFP method, but i think I will try and going one level up for my activity level! Thanks for the feedback!
-
I chose "lightly active" but was not quite sure really how to quantify my activity level. I think I might up my calories to 1900-2000, thanks for the feedback!
-
*Also: why do my daily goals appear to be different just about every day?
-
