  • My fiance drinks a protein powder that has minimal extra ingredients, it is like drinking slightly flavored water. He gets it from The Vitamin Shop.
  • I turn 40 is September and decided to do it big with a trip. I am spending the week in Savannah, Georgia. I am doing ok with the idea and I just wanted to do something fun and go someplace that I have always wanted to visit. Happy Birthday! Think of all the good things you are doing with your life. Find something fun to do.
  • What a wonderful story! Thanks for sharing and congratulations on all your hard work paying off.
  • Walking is so great! I lost 20 lbs with that and tracking what I am eating. I also try to take the stairs whenever I can. Even just going up and down my stairs at home. I am away from home 13-14 hours M-F for work and commute so not much time for exercise. Last summer I decided to start walking the miles of skyways in my…

  • You are an inspiration! Wishing you well on your continued journey. If you are looking for more friends, I would be honored to be one.
  • I will be 40 in September and have never been married as well as no kids. I am very content with my life even if it didn't go the way I thought I wanted it.
  • I was just there this week. These are the items I get everytime I go. Plus I usually end up trying new things frequently. Low Sodium Soy Sauce Steel Cut Oats Raisins Multi Grain Cereal Jasmine Brown Rice Basmati Brown Rice
  • I tracked as well as I could by estimation and only went over by about 300 calories. We were a little short on chairs so as soon as my plate was clean I gave my chair to my dad. It saved me from even thinking about 2nd helpings of anything. What put me over was the piece of pumpkin pie, but I didn't eat all the crust.
  • I had one but everytime I used it my back went out on me or my hips ended up out of alignment.
  • If we are talking freaky Disney stuff then "Pink Elephants on Parade' in Dumbo is one have to fast forward through every time.
  • There are two that I still think about after many years. Monkey Shines Pet Semetary I was in my teens and watched both with my mom.
  • I see it as a lifestyle, I have learned how to pay attention to what I eat. Most diets tell you how to eat, even Weight Watchers gives you a set of guidelines to follow although you can eat what you want within those. MFP allows me to make choices based on how I am feeling, example... this morning I wanted a bagel sandwich…
  • My excuse has been lack of time. I am at my desk 8-9 hours 5 days a week, 20-30 minutes walking to and from my office and in my car an additional 3-4 hours each of those days commuting. That leaves me 1 hour in the morning to get ready and 2-3 hours when I get home to fix dinner, eat, do any other things that need to be…
  • I had homemade butternut squash soup, a Morningstar garden veggie patty and an apple. This will keep me satisfied until late afternoon then I will have some homemade pear sauce.
  • Way to go! I have lost weight in my stomach and thighs but not much in my hips so most of my work pants are not only baggy but too long even with high heels. My problem is that even after loosing 20 pounds my 12's are too big but 10's are still too small. I did find that I have gone from a juniors 15 down to a 13 and in a…
  • You have every right to be proud of yourself! You are working hard and have dropped from 356 to 319 - that is awesome! Never discount the work you have done, just keep it going!
  • Congratulations on an awesome job and 32 years of marriage! I felt good a few weeks ago when I was able to wear my glass ring at my 20 year high school reunion, plus I am able to wear a couple of other rings that haven't fit in a few years.
  • Leftover homemade chicken soup with dumplings
