I've done just about every DVD of Jillian's and it has helped me so much. I used to suffer from back pain, that's all gone and I feel great.

It's a fun workout which doesn't feel like you're working out at all if you like to dance. :)

Throw out the chocolate first off. Then make sure that you don't have any other junk food, or high fat food in the house. He probably is trying to sabotage your diet. Have yourself a good cry, then move on. Do something special for yourself, hairdo, nails, or whatever you like to do that doesn't include over indulging on…

This does happen to everyone at some time or another. Look back at your menu and look up the sodium on the binges you had. I have had to do this because I was getting discouraged too. If you can see the high level of sodium then it's water gain. I have to really watch my sodium. I can also go weeks without losing and then…

You did fantastic, congratulations on your weight loss!!!

I'm so glad to read this. I can't say how many times I get told that I'm going to go into starvation mode. I rarely go under 1200 calories daily. I don't lose weight when I eat back my calories, only when I don't. It makes sense that I would have to burn more than what I consume to lose weight. So I'm going to listen to my…

I can't eat before going to bed because I have acid reflex, so always try to eat at least 3-4 hours before bed. If you don't have that problem, and you're hungry, then you should eat.

I think it's fantastic! I love those moments when you can see the fruit of your labor.

I am so sorry for your loss! It has to the worst grief imaginable to lose your children. Yes they were formed and yes you are allowed to grieve. Your body has been through a traumatic time physically, emotionally and mentally. You must grieve and ask God to help you endure your pain. You have to go through this pain in…

Fantastic job!!!! You should brag and go shopping!!!

I am on week 3, doing 6 days of workout. Today I have to take a day off, really sore. I am changing to new week every week. Next week will be week 4. It is a 30 minute workout, so I just think of it as Ripped in 30 minutes, rather than 60 and it's easier for me to get through. I hear that week 4 is the most challenging of…

I like the plank on your back. Lay flat legs extended, toes pointed, arms stretched over your head and slowly bring one leg up (you can bend both legs, it might give you relief to your back) while you reach towards your feet with your hands, switch legs. You can do it standing as well. Hands over head as you extend one leg…

Excited for you!!!!

I love Zumba too and think that aquazumba is a great idea! The water is good for your joints, you are not landing so hard on your feet in the water. You are also able to move with larger movements because your body feels light in the water. I say go for it! You will have a loads of fun.

Both are tough, depends on what level of fitness you are in I guess. P90X is what my son and brother are doing, it's very intense. 30 Day Shred is a great workout, tough, but it's about 1/2 the time as P90X is. Tony Horton takes a full minute per exercise and Jillian does 30 seconds.

First off congratulations on your sobriety and for being a man and owning up to it. I think it takes a strong will to overcome what you've done. Now it's time to move on. Quit beating up on yourself and start being positive. No negative self talk. You are here and that's what counts. As everyone has mentioned this is an…

Hey I've been there, so I totally understand. There was a week when I didn't do anything. No desire, to motivation, no will power. But I had to force myself to get up and push play to get past that. I never want to workout, but I always feel so much better afterwards. I'm also trying a protein shake with fruit for more…

Welcome to MFP! You're taking all the right steps. Do you have an exercise program in place? That will help get the pounds off faster if it's slowed down for you. I found the Biggest Loser workouts very helpful, I lost over 30 pounds on them. I'm now doing Ripped in 30. I had to slowly increase my workout intensity. First…

That's an excellent idea! I hope that they would add a birthday announcement too.

You shouldn't be hurting because you are losing weight. I've had chronic back pain for years after injuring my back. As soon as the weight was gone, the pain left too. Are you exercising, or doing something your body isn't used to doing? You may have gotten your back out of alignment. Don't blame the pain on your weight…

Don't let what others say mess with you. They are ignorant. Bariatric surgery is a very difficult process to go through. I should know because I had my stomach stapled in 1985. I felt so great, looked fantastic and didn't care what anyone thought about it. Then after my fathers death and my divorce the weight started to…

That's almost a pound, which is a healthy weight loss. There will be weeks when you loss a lot and others when you don't lose anything. Be thankful for all your losses and don't give up. You will get there.

Get a good support bra, even if it costs $40.00 or more, it's well worth it. Also bench presses, flies, push ups, any chest exercise will help lift. Drink lots of water. With time just like all the rest of your body, they will be lifted and firmer.

I must admit that I happen to have a problem with this. Yesterday was a huge NSV for me. I was craving chocolate covered almonds so bad. I went into CVS down the street from me to get my allergy meds and I usually when I go in I will walk around looking at everything and then pick up a canister of chocolate covered…

You really can't spot reduce. The best thing is weight resistance. It will all come off if you keep it up. I have been using Jillian Michaels DVD's and it's really helped me. The videos are $10.00 and are great. Or you could invest in a personal trainer or another expensive workout program. Do whatever works for you.…

Consult with your physician about this. You may need to have your medication adjusted and ask a nutritionist for help with your meals planning. Continue to concentrate on healthy eating and exercise. Water is very important, you need to watch your sodium levels, ask the nutritionist what would be right for you. Also have…

I'm single and just turned 49! I have spent more than half my life looking for Mr. Right. Guess what I found? I found Ms. Right in me. I complete me. I was always so obsessed about being single when all my friends are married. Now I'm working on me. I'm actually thinking about what I want out of my life and how to make me…
