Hi, I've been on mfp for several years. I managed to lose 85 pounds and keep it off for 3 years. Unfortunately I had some major set backs and gained the weight back. I'm trying to get motivated to just begin again. I hate that I gained the weight and feel like a failure. I need to learn to forgive myself and accept that I…

You look amazing! Sure, you may still have some more to go, but you are doing it and looking good. Don't ever let anyone stop you from being healthy. Keep up the good work because you are worth it.

First off, you're beautiful and you shouldn't let anyone tell you otherwise. Secondly, you most certainly should date! This will help you weed out the jerks from the good guys, and yes, there are good guys out there. I met my bf through online dating. I did have to meet a lot of weirdos, jerks and creeps, but the majority…

I didn't give up or quit. I made mistakes and learned from them. I take one day at a time. I had to adjust my mind set and remember that this is a lifestyle change and not a race to lose the most in the fastest time. Slow weight loss is what stays off. You can do this, but you are the only one in the drivers seat. You have…

Feel free to add me. :)

I'm 50 and about to turn 51 tomorrow. I have been single for many years. I had just about given up hope when I met the wonderful man I'm with today. I had decided for better or worse, I'm not going to depend on another person to make me happy. I met him online after a series of bad dates. I had no expectations and had…

Text message, worse ever!!!

Weight training and cutting out the glucose in your foods will get you toned, and lean. No back fat.

You had a huge weight loss the first week! You should be losing about 1 -2 pounds per week. So if you average out your loss in the span of three weeks, your 9 pounds is about 3 pounds a week. That's still fantastic! If you lose any more than that, it will just come back on. Be patient and keep doing what you've been doing.…

I used to date 2-5 years old than me, lately 7-10 years younger. ;)

You can't spot reduce. Just do cross fit workouts, eventually your tummy will catch up with the rest of your body. Just concentrate on being healthy.

You're lucky he was being honest about himself. I don't believe all guys cheat. It's an individual choice to cheat. He is probably a sex addict and he doesn't know how to stop. But his realizing it and admitting it is impressive. It's good that you are out of this relationship however because he is right, he would have…

That's awesome, congratulations!!!

You can't put people into categories like this. I'm curvy, big hips and big chest, can't help it. I will always have curves no matter how small I get. But I prefer to be fit and toned. Everyone has different body types so it's not fair to them to generalize a body shape. Some are lean and trim, some are stockier, tall,…

I'm 50 and I can honestly say that losing weight at any age is hard. It's all in your mindset that makes a difference. Otherwise age is just a number.

Actually neither A nor B sound very good to me.

You do have great arms. I'm still working on mine and they are coming along nicely. ;)

I like my chest, waist, and the strength that my body has to hold me up while doing planks and pushups. I love the burst of energy I get after a workout. :)

Congratulations on your 100lb weight loss!!!! That's amazing in itself. I've been on here 1200 plus days, you can add me as well. I want some of what you've got! I've lost 80 plus pounds and still need 22 more to go. So we can encourage one another.

I've been on here since June 14, 2009. I've felt like giving up many times. Started at a size 20 (really 22, but still wore my clothes tight) and I'm down to an 8. I've lost 80 plus pounds but still need to lose more. I weigh 157, and need to be at 135 for my height. But I'm just going by how I feel. Right now I feel the…

You will in time begin to lose more in the breast. Everyone is different. I started at 40DD, and I'm now at 34DD. I don't mind one bit. But I am only 5'4 and sometimes I think that it may be a bit much. lol But I have noticed my chest firming up with weight training and I still have hips so I guess I'm not too…

You look fantastic!!! I admire what you've done. Weight loss isn't easy as you know. I'm really close to my goal weight and I'm toning. I went from a size 20 to a size 6. I haven't updated my pics yet, but plan to soon. I weigh more now at a size 6 then when I was younger at a size 8. I think because of the weight…
