+1 for everyone who's said that people eating noisily is incredibly annoying. The woman opposite me at work does it and I could happily stab her at lunchtime - otherwise she's lovely! also people being late. At all. Like even 30 seconds. to the OP: I tried it without counting calories - I loved it and felt amazing but didnt lose any weight. Now I'm eating a less 'pure' version of it (so pretty much just low carb, high protein) but obsessively recording every calorie and I'm down 15lb since Christmas. So if you do try it, I'd recommend also counting…

When i'm running for the train at 5.30 it's a handful of nuts (brazils and almonds), a big glass of water and an espresso. Takes about a minute while i finish getting dressed... It just gets me through to lunch, although I'm watching the minutes count down from about 11.30!

please let this be true, I've always hated goats. I've sacrificed work... I figure I'm more important than a job I'm only ambivalent about at best - if my boss wanted me to care more, he should pay me more and give a **** about me. (I'm aware this may be a short-term view :) )

I had it on & off for a couple of years. Hurts like nothing I've ever imagined. Mine went away after I started having 30ml of cherry juice every morning - i took it for about six months and it seems to have fixed the problem completely - no attacks for 2 years now.

the water retention could be caused by an increased salt intake over christmas - try a week on v. low sodium and see what happens? (I'm the same, my wife eats about the same as I do but weighs exactly half..)

I (6'2") run with my wife (5'3"). My cadence is 170ish, hers is 120 - apparently it looks hilarious... but I enjoy not getting injured so much, and find it easy to do now I've been practicing for a year or so. Its also quicker for me (so i can keep up with my wife now!)
