I have been away from MFP for sometime and am now ready to go again! I would love to join your challenge...room for one more?

I so feel your pain! 2 years ago I broke my ankle and needed surgery... a 6 inch plate and 11 screws...thank you very much! I have to say the 2 weeks of bed rest having to wait on the swelling to go down before surgery...stunk! But outside of that...walking with crutches is hard work. You have to burn amazing amounts of…

Congratulations on making this big decision! BrenNew gave you great advice! I just love this site! Something I wanted to share was...I purchased a Walk Away the Pounds DVD. IT has worked like a charm. I was in a slump for the month of September...followed plan but was not loosing anything. I had just gone back to work...am…

I know that depending on what time of the month it is...I can put on a few pounds for a week and then they disappear...thankfully!

I know when I did weight watchers 3 years ago...you could "bank points"...calories...for the weekend if you needed to! I think as long as you don't starve yourself to make up for a BIG day your good!

I love this...you all hit on the BIG ones...here's a few more... 1. Making promises to myself and not keeping them. 2. Not taking time for me. 3. To being a bad role model for my girls. 4. Being embarassed for my kids as the fat mom! 5. going to the DR's and hating the scale.

My only recommendation would be to try out the floor model. Ellipticals have different stride lengths so what might be comfortable for someone might not for others.

I did it and it worked great if you can tolerate the food...it is terrible. I also found it doesn't teach you the basic fundamentals of food...like calorie counting and I ended up right where I started after two years and without my gallbladder! I basically went from eating no carbs to my normal carb intake and my body…

My girlfriend made some last weekend and it was delicious. She sliced the zucchini in half and then cut it lengthwise. PLace it on a cookie sheet, skin side down. Spray with butter spray...any kind. Dice a Vidalia onion and sprinkle over top. Spray again with butter and then use Lawry's Garlic SALT (not powder) to season.…

OK...My hubby knows how much I weigh not because I came clean but rather I had an accident in my backyard...fell and broke my ankle in 3 places and needed to tell the emt how much I weighed to get pain meds. That was not a time to fib at all! I was embarassed and wanted to crawl into a hole! After 2 surgeries...I am now…

I too have shoe envy! Can't walk in heels higher than an inch...in awe when I see someone who can!

I would recommend making an appointment with an Ortho. I sprained my ankle at Disney and 3 weeks later fell in my backyard and broke it. I can't help but think if I had taken better care...had a strong ankle...I would have never dislocated and broke it in 3 places!

I caved to temptation...Hubby made homemade pizza and I ate more than I should have. I still am within my goals...but never should I have had that last slice! Oh well there is always tomorrow! Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

I would recommend trying it out. When I looked at proform...it wasn't smooth and the stride was off for me. I ended up getting a Nordiktrac one. I spent more than I wanted to! Good luck!

Me Too! I thought it was just me because it is only my right foot and I have an ankle injury. I broke it 2 years ago...had plate and 11 screws holding it together until April when I couldn't bear the pain from the hardware anymore! It typically starts to go numb after about 20 minutes. I just thought it was the nerve…

Coming from someone whose hubby has been laid off 4 times in the last 10 years...It is easier to find a job when you are employed. If you wait to start looking until the layoff...you will jump at anything...which is not always a good thing. Remember you may be able to file for unemployment as well! Either way...I wish you…

I have it and was very successful while I stuck with it. It is basically a high protein diet with excercise. The minute I went off and started to add carbs...I gained it all back and then some! I have to say the good old calorie counting is the ticket for me!
