  • OK. It's two years since I started with DDPYoga. I still practice but I've added quite a few other programs into it. Now that I'm a RYT (yes…5 months of training) I incorporate some aspects of DDPYoga into my teaching sequences. I've seen some really awesome results. DDPYoga is a doorway for true/traditional Yoga IMO. It…
  • Been going strong with DDPYoga for 7 months now. I've found, for me, it's best to switch it up now and then. I add RHC onto each set just because it feels good to do so.
  • casanovas12 - You don't have to wait to up your workout routine. You can mix and match: do FB+RHC in the mornings and then an afternoon Diamond Cutter.... that adds up to about an hour and 30 min per day...it's crazy but can be done.
  • Now I'm at 90 days. Still loving it and thrilled with the results. I wrote another review: http://www.downdogjunction.com/ddpyoga-review-revisited/
  • I've found downward dog and catcher-into-thunderbolt to be VERY good pre-run stretches!
  • It's not full on yoga. No spiritual/meditative aspect per se. The only 'mantra' is 'own your life'. I know that sounds a bit over the top, but it's sincere. Check out my site and my review if you're interested! [link]http://www.downdogjunction.com/ddpyoga-review-revisited/ [/link] This is my review of the program 90 days…
  • I had knee surgery June 28th.... Doc told me yoga instead of doing rehab. It works.
  • Okay. Going on Day 90. Love this program. If you haven't tried it yet, I have one question for you.... Why not? If you don't try you don't know what you're missing...and believe me you're missing a whole lot!
  • Yeah... Hulkin' it up is quite fun. I really like Dead Bug... I get the giggles doing that! Reminds me of being a kid rolling around on the floor! LOL I can now do an effortless shoulder stand because of Dead Bug <---- something I used to do as a kid just for kicks! Look me up on the site... William H
  • It's a lot like power yoga with a twist. I posted a link to my review a couple posts above. I'm not a guru or fitness pro. I know it works.
  • Awesome... you know the mantra : "OWN it"... just did FB+RHC+BTB all in a row this morning. Loving it.
  • I dunno if you can actually get the DVD's that way. However, there are several youtube clips available that have many demonstrations....
  • I have indeed tried vinyasa yoga. A major difference in DDPYoga is it incorporating MMA style moves, and calisthenics. You find yourself doing "fast-twitch" punches, slow-burn punches, and knee thrusts for an example. You also find yourself doing slow-burn pushups, etc. There is also an emphasis on muscle engagement and…
  • I have been schooled... Thanks.
  • Do it. You won't regret it.
  • I personally feel it's what I call the 'yoga elite' who are putting out this garbage mentality. Exercise is exercise. If you get your heart moving...you create internal heat...the internal heat burns fat... there's a scientific way to describe it but I don't have the words. I know I've lost 22 lbs in less than 2 months..…
  • I just stepped up to 3&4... it's all pretty awesome stuff!
  • I have been doing the program since May 26. 22lbs gone and I feel 150% better than I have in a very long time. I have a website where I posted a lengthy review of it. Check it out. I have very little negative feedback (if any) regarding the program. In fact, it's so NO impact that 10 days after having knee surgery I was…
  • I've been using the program for just over a month: 20 lbs gone. 17 inches gone. Love it myself. I wrote a review here: http://www.downdogjunction.com/2012/07/my-ddpyoga-review/ In an average workout I've found that I can burn in excess of 10 calories per minute. How's that?
