lol all of this. I come to the gym with my make up done. (my hair is naturally board straight..even if I did "do it up" it would just un-do itself in a matter of minutes.) BUT, that's cause I'm coming STRAIGHT from work. and though I'm sure people judge me on the front end, once they see me ballin on the treadmill or…

some new Miss Me jeans :) also I'm HOPING a beach trip is in my near future so hopefully my reward will ultimately be NOT being embarrassed on the beach :)

YES YES YES YES YES FOR ZUMBA!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I love zumba??! haha. Okay so seriously. I don't have any pictures, and I didn't have a WHOLE lot of weight to lose, but I absolutely ADORE zumba. It built my endurance up for, well, everything else I wanted to do! Plus it's actually FUN. I DID lose weight (about 8…

^^ basically this is what I was getting at. haha.

I think it may be a little different for everyone, especially depending on body type. I have naturally bigger hips, thighs, and butt. it's actually my main complaint about my body. I had been doing weighted leg exercises + cardio (almost 50/50) for a year. I saw improvement, definitely. but my upper half is so much smaller…

this is the most amazing thing ever. lol.

HAHA! that bottom one is the new me. I feel bad for my friends. I just can't seem to make myself stop though..it's weird..

1. no one said anything about beef. just you, buddy. 2. unless there's meat or grass in an engine block, no. no it doesn't. there's nothing in the meat I eat except for *drum roll please* MEAT.
-
I'm sure everyone else in this thread would love to tell you how that's not bad for you, either.

"science is your friend" coming from the person who just said "mmm McRib"????!??! no. sorry. it absolutely does not work that way. Science IS our friend. and 70+ ingredients, plus the stuff they use to make the foamy part of yoga mats, are included in the McRib. and that's okay to put in your body?! please! it's not JUST…

well sheesh! I thought mine was pretty new. it's from September 2012.

this. listen to your body. if you're healthy, and you've already eaten your meals, have a small healthy snack. a handful of almonds, a fresh fruit smoothie, a handful of carrots, whatever. eat when you're hungry. otherwise you're hardly doing any good for your body.

has anybody noticed this guy? this is the dude who chooses the treadmill right next to you when the whole row is empty. heck, when the whole GYM is empty. also, you are not happily married.

what's TRX? and I do zumba! and I definitely am from earth, nor am I Latin. I'm as white as they come. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you mentioned zumba people because they generally are in crazy-bright neon colored outfits?

It sounds crazy, but it's quite the intricate process. I'll give you a personal example from my last experience with what I guess are new year's resolutionists. [side note, great for them to be exercising, NOT GREAT for them to be doing what I'm about to describe] at my gym, we have 2 leg lift machines. you know, the ones…

^ this right here. SO CUTE. and totally what cats do..not that I would know... :P

I am SO sorry to hear that you're going through this. that is just awful of him to say. I've been attracted to several people in my past that now I look back on and think "you know, they're not that attractive..." but I was attracted to them because I loved them! if your husband is going through some personal struggles,…

wow, I forgot my bottom line. haha whoops! eat when you're hungry. if you've done that and it's still telling you that you're eating too few calories, don't listen. you're eating exactly enough for your body if you're eating when you're hungry and not eating when you're not.

I'm in school for dietetics, but I'm not an expert. (yet. haha.) But I have been getting the same message. I'll take in about 1200 or more calories per day but once I work out, I end up being several hundred calories below the recommended amount. I even eat 3 small meals/snacks plus 3 larger meals a day and I'm still under…

I think I'm going to start too! My boyfriend has it but can't do it because he lives in an upstairs apartment and says there's so much jumping/moving involved, the neighbors would constantly be calling on him. haha.

I feel like a chunky runner! I consider myself chunky..mostly because of my hips/stomach/thighs area. I definitely have those "Child bearing" hips and I swear to you, they are just not built for running, but I love it!! I feel like I'm carrying a literal tire around my midsection when I run. or bags filled with sand. I…

please add me too!! I need serious accountability!! :)

I was vegan/raw food for quite a while, and now I've transitioned into eating meat very rarely and when I do, it's hormone/anti-biotic/free range, etc. I still try to stay away from dairy. It's not even necessarily for ethical reasons, though I do understand that aspect of it! definitely! but mostly because of what goes…

I'm really sorry you had this kind of experience. My gym is the same in terms of the pass, though the staff is there from 8am-10pm, and it's just as awkward for me to see someone pulling on the door looking in to catch eyes with someone for them to open it, lol. not that you did that, but that happens all the time. In…

YEP. I experienced this same thing. Two teen-age girls brought in their little brothers - illegally, because there's an age limit at my gym and they took advantage of the lack of staff due to the holiday - and the guy in front of me was on his phone literally THE entire time I was behind him. and kept looking around to see…

mrsjas2000 - you can do it!! One mistake I think a lot of people generally make is thinking "What if I can't do this? What if I fail?" (I think a lot of people get that mindset in a lot of different tasks/journeys.) Try to keep your mind positive and think about all the great things you can and WILL do once you have lost…

Congratulations! you are an inspiration!! :D

hello! Sounds pretty good. You're doing better than most with your breakfast! The only thing I'd have to suggest is this: just check the sugar and fiber content between the two cereals. I think Cheerios (if you're not eating just the plain ones) have a pretty large amount of sugar, but then again the Raisin Bran actual…
