It's CDO. You must put the letters in their correct order.

Daily. I'm a numbers geek.

Most of the known world is metric. The only time Americans have a clue about the metric system is when they are discussing hand-guns and assault rifles!

I asked if you were single because as a married man and father of four and six year old girls there is no way I could possibly dedicate that much time to working out even if I had the energy. I have not had a workout load like that in twenty years. My condolences on your loss. No offence was meant.

Are you single?
-
Excellent - so if they are illegal, criminals won't use them?
-
Have you given any though as to how you would deal with the emotional fallout? Say Johnny Crackhead breaks into your house to steal you PlayStation and you put a bullet in his head. How do you live with that?

Anti gun. As a Canadian Brit I am not surprised at the number of pro-gun responses. But as guns are not as big a part of Canadian culture I don't have an understanding as to why Americans think they are so necessary. What if a private citizen in the Aurora movie theatre was armed with a gun and started shooting back and…

Michael Phelps - and doubtless many other high-performance athletes - can eat that many calories without too much of a problem. Phelps is currently on 12,000 calories a day in his Olympic build-up - and not too much fat going on there!

My wife and I joined at the same time. It makes a big difference to have the support of your partner!

@Michelle - yup!

30?

I have to say that personally, I consider BMI tables a joke. Until a few days ago I rated as obese and recently progressed to overweight! After years of pounding pavement I am quite muscular - specially in the legs - and most people are amazed when I tell them my weight as they usually guess me twenty pounds lighter. For…

I'm 47 and not overly active... but I have two young kids and walk two or three times a week. 5' 6" and 198pounds to start. Doen to 183 and currently on 1590 cals a day and finding it okay. As I eat less I find I only want smaller meals and finding it quite easy so far!

"I completely misunderstood what you meant by skipping until the second to last sentence. I had this image of this 50 year old dude skipping like a school girl at the gym. Talk about a good laugh." I'm 47 and skip - the kind without the rope - with my two girls... one is four and one almost seven. They get the biggest kick…
-
Sorry. Won't happen again. I'll leave my skipping rope at home next time...

I haven't added any friends other than my wife... too much drama on some of these boards for me! I just use the site for tracking my food as I have to be regimented and I occasionally read the boards but most of the stuff goes by way too fast!
-
Ouch. What's wrong with walking? This from someone that has walked five miles in 39:00. Many years ago, mind you.
-
So does my wife....

That's not a real dog.

I usually ignore sugar if I have eaten un-processed foods. Natural fruit sugars are fine - but you need to worry if all your sugars come from high-fructose corn syrup!
-
I've dropped fourteen pounds and my wife is the the only one to have said anything to me... depressing really! Fortunately, I am doing it for me.
-
KFC gets me... I have a hankering about once a year. I usually toss it up about an hour after eating it. My body really does not like fried food any more...
-
Every morning after my visit to the bathroom but before breakfast when i am at my lightest! My weight loss so far has been quite rapid and daily weigh-ins are quite motivating. I would not be able to wait a week!

You are awake.

I have no problems with the pics... just wondering how I order wallet-size.
-
You're not wearing a hat.

You're welcome. :drinker: [/quote] I'm a Brit too but have spent more than half my life in Canada so I am now Canadian instead!
