Peoples bodes react differently to carbs thats why some people fear them. For me the key to utilising carbs the best is timing for example at the moment i am trying to strip some body fat off and thats why i only have carbs PWO and a high carb day every saturday. I know what you mean to an extent though

hey, Personally i would try and stop having that much sugar if i were you. Also keep your protein high (around 1.5x kg of bodyweight), only have carbs post workout (40-60g) and eat the remainder of calories from good fats. This is just my opinion though. Its all about trial and error and what works best for you. Good luck!

if you are overweight still you should suck it up and keep going. There could be a number of reasons affecting your fat loss.

Hi there, by the sounds of it its your BF with the actual problem, weighing that little is scary. Has he been to the Dr's? As for you, if your not confident then excersise and diet until you are confident. Regards

Hey, Firstly i wouldnt put sugar in the green tea as thats kinda counterproductive Secondly..... You can get different flavours of green tea such as green tea with mint or green tea with lemon. Give them a shot!

This! The lack of structure is definitely what causes me problems, this is also the case around Christmas time or when I am off work.

Post a photo if you can handle honest opinions, mind you one persons fat is another persons skinny, its all about the eye of the beholder! You cant really tell that much from stating your weight etc. Regards

I'm still waiting for this guy to retract his stupid statement.

In my opinion i would stay away from protein bars due to the amount of sugar thats kickin about in 99% of them. why not try Beef jerky, if you like meat? Meat is good, rich in good fats, low in carbs and high in protein! If to why not just have a protein shake mixed with oats? Regards

Well done on making yourself out to be a total weapon. What a bad bad post.

I lift. I like people who lift. I LOVE girls who lift.

Personally i would't eat fruit if i wanted to lose weight. This is due to the fructose. I would maybe have it PWO but thats it. And yeah, get your protein and Fats sorted if you haven't already. Good luck!

I like the simplicity of the Topic starting post. Eat less calories than you burn = weight loss. Then your body's hormonal state comes in to play but for 90% of the people on here doing what the OP said is a great starting point.

I would concentrate on how you look rather than how much you weigh, If you are loosing inches thats good!

Some awesome inspiration for people in this thread!

I think its beneficial to measure yourself once a month too, along with maybe progress photos every couple of month. Weighing yourself may be deceiving where as the tape and camera don't lie! x

I drink water or green tea throughout the day then have around 1/2 a litre - 1 Litre when i train. I probably have around 3-4 Litres a day. Just have it handy, maybe a litre bottle by your side.

I must admit I find it sexy. Not the pro body builders who have more testosterone in their system than a man though. I like figure athletes. There's something sexy about a strong woman. Girls who squat have the best legs and *kitten* by a green mile

According to an electronic body stat test I had done at the gym the lowest I have ever been is 7% although looking at the photo I would probably say I was closer to 10%. I imagine I am around 12% at the moment and will drop to 9% by summer time

Personally I don't even bother loggin excercise. One of the reasons is I find if I logged excercise it would give me an excuse to eat more and secondly the amount of people I see on here who log stupid amounts of calories burned from excercise I feel over exaggerate alot
