Low carbs can help with weight loss. I've done it a few times and it defo helps. It changes the hormonal state of your body and uses fat for your primary energy source. You still have to have a calorie deficit but in my experience low calorie with low carb works a lot better than just lowering your calories

If your going low carb make sure you eat plenty of good fats.... Nuts , eggs etc. This will help you maintain a healthy level of calories whilst also pushing your body towards using fats as th primary source of fuel opposed to carbs

100% agree with this. Don't do it, my pet hate is seeing people who burn off 10000000 calories doing 120 minutes on a cross trainer. They're only cheating themselves

I think Eric is absolutely rite there. Calories in v calories out has a lot to do with weight loss but so does your hormones

Record your calories as accurately as possible and always over estimate if in doubt. Also don't put your excersise calories in, from what I can tell most people on here always over do the excersise calories. Save carbs for after training

I had carbs in the form of semi skimmed milk in my tea and whatever the amount of carbs that was in the food I ate. I had a few carb meals yesterday as I was whiped out and made some healthy brownies today (dates, almonds, peanuts, peanut butter and ca cacao powder)

Thanks for all the responses. Gale Hawkins, 1 and a half years is great control, fair play to you! The main reason to up your fat intake is to kind of force your body to use fat as its primary energy sauce opposed to carbohydrates.

I agree but in some cases it seems that people aren't being honest. I noticed quite a good looking guy got rated really low on a number of occasions the other day and yet less attractive people got rated a lot higher. It is preference but there's no balance
