Exercise! Cardio and strength training are equally important and having an athletic or healthy body fat percentage (higher lean muscle mass) will help. Healthy diet and exercise go hand in hand. I'm not aware of other ways to speed up your metabolism, but I know drinking coffee, green tea and lots of water seems to help as…

One of things I treat myself to is a regular coca cola from time to time...it is just so good one of my all time favorites. I don't drink it often but when I do it is so worth the calories :) I cannot stand the taste of diet sodas so otherwise I just drink water with lemon or green tea (or coffee in the AM and red wine in…

While it did help my severe cramps so much (I barely noticed any with my first period on the pill), I also gained a ton of weight without increasing my calories or decreasing my activity. I gained 10 -15lbs and at least a cup size in the 2 months I was…

I also should add it is extremely hard for women to bulk up from doing weights, so definitely start lifting!

I'm 5'5" 110lbs and 18% body fat. Currently my goal is 16%. Body fat has everything to do with appearance rather than weight. I had to learn that the hard way as I used to weigh 120 lbs (wasn't sure of my body fat then) and started eating 1000-1200 cals a day to lose weight. I got down to 105 lbs and still hated the way I…
