  • Anyone who reads this message - send me a request with a little about yourself. I have been on and off MFP since 2012. I am ramping up to make that final push to what I consider a healthy weight for myself, so I have 30 pounds to go. Let's do this together!!
  • CW 165.5 I would like to join the maintenance team for the remainder of the month please. The stress of job and housing searching and a cross(ish) country move is all I can handle right now. Had an interview today, went well enough but I don't believe it is the job for me. No more than say an hour later I received a call…
  • Sorry I've been MIA this week. On Monday my bf and I made the decision to move from VT to MI as soon as we can. We were supposed to be moving in together in northern VT where he had accepted a job, but couldn't find housing and didn't like the area. So we up and decided to move. We have both spent every state moment this…

  • @everyone- Thanks for the positive replies. It means a lot to have so many people ask me to stay. I have been having a hard time feeling connected to the group because the community feature stinks on mobile, I don't have internet and I have lousy cell service at best. So reading posts and responding is a challenge, and…
  • Hi everyone, it seems I'm not the only person struggling with emotional or stress eating. I am also struggling to feel like a member of this group and have been on the fence about leaving your ranks so as not to weigh you down with my inability to get my head out of the fridge. Anyways, just thought I'd share where my…
  • @micki48 I think you missed me as well. My goal was 6k steps a day and I hit it everyday. I'll go back and double check that my post listing all my steps for the week actually shared and I didn't hit that darn done button again...
  • Hiked a 4065 foot mountain today. It was hard. It took me 4:45 to do the whole hike, a total of 7.4 miles. Phew. I woke up at 5 am to get to the trail head before the Labor Day visitor hoard showed up and COMPLETELY forgot 8t was my weigh in day. @jugar can I weigh in tomorrow? I always take my weight first thing in the…
  • Happy Saturday ya'll! Today is technically my Friday and my Friday and Saturday shifts are my longest and most tiring shifts of all so so am BEAT today. Good day off and steps wise though. And tomorrow is the first Sunday all summer where I haven't had plans (thanks to a coworker scare with covid making me have to cancel…
  • I had typed a post this morning all about my fears that a coworker was bringing in donuts today, but that dreaded done button got me once again. Turns out the only thing that coworker brought today was a possible case of covid. His gf's roommate tested positive today. I had plans to see my mom and grandmother and best…
  • @Terytha I second what evangsimmons170 said: baby spinach. Also baby kale. For one the fiber is less tough than broc so it blends easy, and the baby varieties have very little flavor. Also, have you thought about using chia seeds? High in fiber and good fat.
  • I'm still in a mental funk and ate way more cookies than I should. But I logged them all and am somehow still within 100 calories of my goal. I also managed to hit my step goal today so that's good too. I'm having my partner over for a fire and dinner tomorrow after work before he goes away for 5 days, so I will need to…
  • Hey ya'll, I am afraid Mondays may become a bit of a rough day for me. I have therapy on Mondays and I seem to always leave the session feeling raw and vulnerable and quite frankly unable to make any more good choices. I haven't eaten well today. I did at least make sure that I will hot my step goal. I'm about 500 steps…
  • @ Can I join the step team? I forget specifically how it works, and I'm having a rough day (will post separately) so I will have to refresh my own memory at a later date if that is okay. My step goal by was set at 6k and the following was what I accomplished: Tues 8/25 (joined this day) : 7282 8/26: 9573 8/27 : 8632 8/28:…
  • Whoop whoop!! 🥳🔥🎉🎊👑
  • @jugar - I'm not complaining about the cold, I LOVE fall hiking and I'm an October baby, so its my favorite time of year! My S.O is just a baby about the cold, so I don't know of I can convince him to go outside with me today. As for my LTD, if it's okay I would like to post both amounts, the smaller number will be since…
  • Weigh-In Day!! PW. 164.2 CW. 162.7 LTD. 1.5 (60.3 since highest recorded adult weight) I have felt so much better about life since I joined this group Tuesday. I hit my 6k steps everyday, logged my food everyday and stayed under or right at most days. My outlook has turned to more positive than negative. I can't wait to…
  • @jugar -can I change my weigh in to Sundays? And I will still use the starting weight of 164.2 that I gave when I first registered. Let's see if she changed tomorrow am?! @Terytha - I too want to focus on core strengthening! Want to chat about creating a mini fitness challenge and help each other stick to it?
  • Hi everyone! I introduced myself at the end of August when I first joined, bit I'll give a short re-intro again. I'm Amanda, soon to be 33 from Vermont. I am currently still rehabing (by that I mean not at all, just complaining about how I can't do x, y or z) my fractured dominate elbow from February. I am coming off of…
  • @Gidgitgoescrazy - My goal is to hit the 150's for the first time as an adult by the end of the month. Let's doooo thiiiiss!!!
  • I have to start this post by saying I am really disliking updates made to the forum in mobile mode since the last time I actively used MFP. I just typed out big long post full of emotions and accidentally hit done in the upper right corner instead of submit post, which is hidden by my keyboard. I did this the night I typed…
  • Hey everyone, new member Amanda here. I just spent too long writing my intro only to have it all disappear thanks to clumsy thumbs 🤦 So I'll keep it short this time. 32 from VT. I joined MFP in 2012 and lost 65# in 12 months. Two injuries and a year later I was back to starting weight. Yo-yod between 200+ and 170's at…
  • Where all the 802 people at? Located in Waterbury ...
  • Hello fierce ladies! I am by no means new to MFP and the yoyo weight game, I've lost first 65 lbs in a year, gained it all back, and most recently lost 40ish last fall/winter. Have been maintaining current weight give or take a few for a year and hoping to start things moving in a downward trend. I am 32, 5'3 and…
  • Not new to MFP, but just getting back after taking a bit off. Formerly lost 65 lbs in my first year, and sadly have gained most of it back after some injuries and losing focus and determination. But I now have the specific goal of wanting to become a whitewater raft guide this coming summer, so this winter is all about…
  • Hey there! I'm going to try and get back into keto starting tomorrow. I was in it for 6 months once and loved every minute of it! Add me and we can support each other.
  • Hey! I'm in Plymouth!
