Do both for sure. I love the way the combo makes me look and feel. Lifting heavy means heavy for you. For some that does mean body weight. When I say no Carb no sugar I mean no white carbs, rice flour,ect and no added sugar. I eat lots of protein veg and some fruit. I get carbs but the best kind. If I didn't I would never have energy for my intense workouts

Don't sweat it! I gained 3 lbs the first 2 wks myself. Stay away from the scale and measure. Your holding on the water ( swelling in muscles) sect. Its way normal because you're shocking your body. Well there's water weight, too much sodium and hormones from ur monthly visitor. It's normal to fluctuate 5+ during that time.

Me for sure. Struggling hard for the last 12lbs. At first dropped 7 a week.( had 40 to lose) now having weeks that nothing changes on the scale.

Also make sure you're eating often. At least every 5 times a day. You also need healthy carbs. I weigh 138 and eat about 1500 Cal's. If that helps. Though I don't eat bread or sugar.

I remember being asked that once, right after having my son. I told the nice lady no I'm not pregnant, it'sonly a tumor.She couldn't get away fast enough. It gave me a giggle to see the panic on her face.

I am doing Insanity on month 2. I do drink a shake and it helps. Visit your calorie intake, make sure you are eating enough? You also should be getting a ton of veg and fruit. Are you following the diet plan that came with it? Working out this hard you needs fuel. L's. It does get better :-)

Did c25k last winter. I too was nervous cause everyone else running was a cross country king. Just remember your moving and getting further than the ones still sitting on the couch.

Same here. I run but my shins were killing me the first mile. I wear vibram kso and have had no shin splints from day one. My calves were killing me for awhile but it was that good muscle pain. My family laughs at me all the time but I love my freaking shoes!

I hope you're really proud of yourself! I did day 1 month 2 today and it was no joke. Apparently month 2 is gonna kill me. Don't you just love coming to that realization that you can do ANYTHING? It makes ya feel unstoppable.

I am. Don't get me wrong I'm wonderfully flawed. I too have stretch marks (4 kids) scars galore, I am clumsy and have always been athletic. However thanks to this body I have been able to do anything I wanted enough to work for. It has hung in there through yrs. Of my abuse and I love it!
