  • Same boat here as well. About a year ago I was able to lose 60 pounds by just eating healthy and using MFP. Then I got PG and it is almost ALL back. I need to lose 80 pounds to be at my goal weigh. I need all the help I can get.
  • First pic was taken Christmas of Last year. Starting weight 260. Most recent pic was taken a couple weeks ago, currently at 199. Still need to lose about 40 more. But It is a start.
  • Welcome Back! I was the exact same way until something finally clicked for me in December. I have been going strong since then. It has helped me to stick pictures of me from my smaller days in places so help remind me to stay strong and remember what we are working for. You can do it!
  • Thanks everyone! I always love looking at progress pictures as well. They make me want to go running or something. :o)
  • I would vent to! That would be very hurtful. I think you are much stronger to be losing weight without the help of surgery. Keep your head up, you will most likely come out on top by continuing what you are doing.
  • You can do it! Maybe grab something on the healthier side, well minus the dessert of course. Is there anywhere else in the office you can stick the food after they leave so others can pick at it? If it were me, even though it is a complete waste, I would just throw it away. That way the temptation isn't there. But no…
  • Hi Brian! Lucky for me I live in a state where the only wings I can find are at Domino's, and well, we know how those wings are. You can do it! Stick to those calories and you will see the weight start to drop. I am down 20 lbs since starting right after Christmas, you just have to stick with it. I'll send ya an invite,…
  • Great Job so far! Just keep up the momentum and you will make it to your goal. What has worked the best for me is just removing all the bad stuff from my diet, well most of it. I do not eat out anymore and if I do, I either go to Subway or get something healthy. I have also been eating a lot of whole grains. Find something…
  • Awesome! It is amazing how a change can affect you. My divorce is being finalized this month as well and I feel like a weight is being lifted off my shoulders. I am glad you are happier now! Keep up the good work.
  • I agree with the others, Zumba is really fun. I also want to do a ton of hiking when it gets warmer which burns a ton of calories. Keep in mind that even cleaning your house can burn quit a bit. I am not able to fit in a ton of workouts because I am so busy, but staying on track with my eating helps a ton. I eat a lot of…
  • Holy huge photo's batman! I am changing them now.
  • Going off your second post, the snacks I get for my son are like Teddy Grahams or Cheerios. If I feel like having some of them I just make sure to read the label and measure out a serving size. It helps rather then grab handfuls of whatever. Also, Multi Grain Cheerios are Yum, way better then regular. I attempted Slimfast…
  • I agree with the previous post. That is all you need to do. I started eating healthier foods and made sure the snacks I had every couple hours were healthy, like yogurt. I haven't been able to work out to much yet, but I do have a busy one year old and carrying him around all day gives me something. I have lost 15 pounds…
  • I wasn't bored with it either! Truly inspirational. It took me a long time to realize that food is like a drug. I joined the site a few months back, but only really started changing my diet and watching my calories on Christmas day. I weighed myself and discovered I weighed 10 pounds less then when I gave birth to my son.…
