Less calories doesn't mean healthier though. By saving roughly 54 calories per egg, you're also missing out on healthy cholesterol, Vitamin A, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, most of the Calcium, most of the Folate, and all of the Omega-3s that eggs have to offer. It's not all about calories....

I would say that I haven't given up anything. I've drastically reduced almost to non-consumption: fast food and soda. I've greatly reduced: pasta, bread, processed foods, sugar, dairy, and alcohol. I've added: greek yogurt, more and varied veggies, healthier proteins, more fruits, and exercise. If I eliminate something…

Why would you give up egg yolks? That's where all the protein is!!
-
I've read that for women, you should eat from 86-160g of protein. For lifters, I've seen 1g of protein for every lb of body weight. I, however, I can't eat 235g of protein a day so...... yeah!

I second this! It's a great way to get the point across, without completely offending him. Whether he's trying to be a d-bag, he's flirting, or he's honestly trying to be nice, we don't really know. Putting in a communal sweets basket shows him that while you appreciate it, you really will NOT eat the sweets. I totally get…

How aggressive accountability are you looking for? You want someone to say "Hey chicka, where are you? Hey girly, great lunch but what happened to the veggies?!" If so, I'm willing to give it a go. I think that being honest with ourselves and others is a great way to be held accountable, and I have no problem saying it how…

Man up and deal with it. I mean... who puts milk in their tea, unless its chai tea? Sissies, that's who. No sugar either. EW.

Crockpot: chicken, salsa, ranch packet Cook it, make chicken tacos with soft corn tortillas, avocado and lettuce. I don't think you can get much simpler than tacos. You can do the same with pork and beef, just change the seasonings that go into the crockpot. Eggplant pizza. Eggplant, tomato sauce, cheese. Put together and…

So use scary tactics and force your child to live the way you wished you had? I understand that this is your personal opinion, but how can you even know that your child isn't lying straight to your face, especially since you've made it so obvious how you feel against sex before marriage? Honestly, my parents were…

The best thing that my mom did for me was tell me that she was always there for me. Questions, concerns, and if I thought I was ready to have sex, to help me get birth control. She said that she would never judge me for my actions or questions, but that she only wanted me to be happy, healthy, and safe. It allowed an open…

Hands. (I'm glad I'm not the only one.) I love big hands, but also find the long, spindly piano hands attractive. However, no hands smaller than mine. Ever. And strength. I don't particularly care if they're toned or buff or what, but I want a man that's stronger than me. The biggest turn off is having a man who can't lift…

YAY FOR YOU!! On both, the eating part, and the recognizing that you had made a mistake. A lot of people can't do either, and it shows your growth and maturity that you are able to do such. I admire and commend you for your actions!

, the waist is normally one of the last areas in which fat leaves and one of the first where you gain it. There's nothing special that you can do for the muffin top, other than lose more weight. Eventually it'll drop as your body fat % does.

I use the Nerd Fitness workout, and I'm currently doing Bodyweight Level 3. I've also included working on my bench press and dumbbells, along with doing the C210K program. I'm going to add in either yoga or Pilates as well.

So last week, my sister convinced me to sign up for a 10K.... and I didn't run... at all!! It's in January, and through some recommendations, I downloaded the C210K program. I'm on my 3rd day of the 1st week, and I have to say... I love it! It very gently takes you walking/jogging to walking/running to jogging/running to…

I stopped taking birth control because it made my PMS systems worse (no matter which brand). Every period, I felt like I was going crazy. My mood swings were out of control, I was up, down, all around, and couldn't help but shove everything unhealthy thing under the sun in my face hole. Since stopping the pill, exercising…

It sounds like the aunt and grandma don't think that the husband should move on (or maybe they feel he's moved on too quickly?). Whatever their issue is, shame on them for attempting to force them onto a child. Adults are sometimes more childish and petty than children are. I give you props for handling it like an adult,…

I know this has been said a million times, but therapy could seriously help this girl. It'll give her someone to talk to, who won't try and force their opinion on her. It'll allow her time and space to form her own opinion, and allow her to develop the ability to stand up for herself and think for herself. Good luck to all…

This is one of the reasons I normally dislike women. If you want equal rights, pay for your own *kitten*. The man is not your moneybags, unless that's the prearranged agreement (which probably means you should be in the kitchen making a sammich while being barefoot). But in DATING, if a woman asks a man out, she should…

I can't do pictures, but this is what I try to remind myself every time I slip up: http://approachanxiety.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/What-success-looks-like.jpg Success isn't a straight line. It's a journey. As long as you don't give up, as long as you don't call it quits for good, every step you make in the right…

I highly disagree.Things that affect the SELF affect the RELATIONSHIP and the OTHER. You see it as it being an issue of boundaries, but I know for a fact that my fiancé doesn't want to do the grocery shopping. Therefore, if he's trying to eat healthier and has made it clear that he is, me buying sugary *kitten* is a clear…

Yep. I have about 85 lbs to go, though I'm not sure how I'll look at that weight, so I have up to 100. I started at 265 and now weigh 235, and I've gone from a 24W to an 18W. We can totally do this!! Fair warning... if you're eating Twinkies for dinner, I will call you out on it. I do it because this place is about…

Shop at Ross, if you can. Target and Walmart are normally pretty reasonably priced as well.

I'm a chick and I can't survive on 1200. I tried it. I was angry, hungry, and just generally miserable. Ate more, felt better. I do agree on the skinny fat though. I would much rather be able to bench press and lose inches vs. lbs than be a flappy, weak person. Truly, to each their own, but I hope you're seeing a doctor…

I know this is going to sound maybe a little strange... but why don't you try it? Do it for one Sunday, and see if it works. See if your body feels okay doing that. See if you gain 5 lbs from just one day (highly doubtful). I'm not a nutritionist, but I know that people can have "cheat" days and be perfectly fine.

Frozen banana, unsweetened dutch cocoa powder, some almond milk (or whole milk), and a blender. 'Sup Wendy Frosty Wannabe?

At 5'1, I don't think I make the cut off. I feel like a gnome amongst the redwoods.

Isn't cleaning, housework, yard work, etc just a part of living an "active" lifestyle (vs sedentary)? I mean, do whatever you want, but it seems weird to me. He never said that cleaning the house wasn't hard work.... he just said that counting it as actually exercising (aka: something more than your "active" lifestyle) is…
