I'm actually thinking about the one for the cellulite and stretch marks.....The inches would be a nice treat, but a help with cellulite would be the best! Thanks everyone for your responses!

I could use a jump start too......My weight is okay, but my food is NOT! I am eating poorly, and I know it. I guess I need something to focus on......

I am finding that I am cold all the time. I am not sure if that's dietary or because I've dropped 12 pounds, and am very near my goal (which I lowered when I almost reached this weight). I too live in NY, and find the cool temps here not the best for this diet! I am currently eating a green smoothie for breakfast everyday,…

[/quote] I'm doing this raw food diet going on 9 days now, I'm doing all raw fruits, veggies, grains, nuts, and legumes. Yes, I would have to say it is very time consuming. But I'm reaping the benefits, my skin is glowing, I've lost 7 lbs so far, I'm always always full, and you know its a good thing when you crave for…

I am currently thinking of doing a high percentage of raw foods.....Like 80% raw. I have really learned a lot about raw food eating in the past few days. I didn't realize that all nuts grown in the US are pasteurized, and therefore, not raw. So, it's little things like that that I have to learn. Thanks everyone!

I am glad that you said that you get cold.....After the first day of fruit fasting I started feeling cold. And, last night even with the wood furnace going, I could not get warm. I hadn't even thought that it might be from my food intake......Thank you!

Correct.....I guess I am wondering what's going on with my metabolism overnight. Isn't there a HRM that tells you when you are burning the most calories? I guess I'm thinking about what they use on the Biggest Loser (the Body Bugg, I think) that gives the trainers a chart telling them when the person is burning most and…

Does anyone know if the Hal Higdon program is available for Blackberry? I can't find an app for it, but did find it for the iPhone.....Thanks!

Salmon, turkey breast, venison, organic grass-fed beef......You can eat (almost) all you want!

Thanks everyone! My injury was a break-down in my hip and knee on one side......I do have the tendency to become obsessive with my workouts (i.e. my wrist injury is from 1.5 hours of vinyasa daily last winter!), so when I was training before, I didn't take rest days. I didn't stretch enough, and I didn't take great care of…

My base fitness is fairly good.....I work out daily, taking a day off each week. I do HIIT and vinyasa yoga work outs. I power walk and job when the weather is good. I have a wrist injury, so did take some time off late fall and put on a few pounds (5 lbs.). My goal for the race? Not really sure. I guess I'd been saying to…

That is exactly what happened the first time I trained for a marathon.....I OVERtrained! I didn't take days off, thinking "more is better"! I do tend to be obsessive with exercise, so I have to be careful NOT to over do it this time! I will check out those sites. Thanks Jessica!

I store the half that I don't eat in an air tight rubbermaid or tupperware container......It will keep for a couple of days without getting too brown. If you eat it within 24 hours, it shouldn't brown at all. AND, don't feel guilty about the calories! They are pure nutrition!!!!

I bake mine and add sea salt and pepper......It's delicious!

I prefer to work out first thing in the morning without eating anything. I take a water bottle and sip that during my workout. Then, when my body is asking for food, I eat. I try to listen to my body especially right around exercise......

I use both DVDs and LOVE them both! I do two workouts on most days (though I've been doing a lot of vinyasa yoga lately).....One level of one and then one level of the other.....I use the 30 Day Shred, too.....So there are lots of possibilites of combinations! I think she's the best instructor out there! I've used two…

I agree.....I think it's my favorite Jillian Michaels DVD!

I love JM work-outs! I use 5 lbs and 8 lbs weights. I try to use the 8s for everything, but some things I really need to use the 5s. Since they use three pound weights in the video, there's no shame in using 5s! :)

I haven't done a challenge in quite a while....So, here goes! Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: 479 (JM Ripped in 30 & Vinyasa Power Yoga) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned) Sat:calories burned…

I am about a month into my treatment plan....and my wrists are seemingly better! The left is much better than the right. I have days when the right wrist is very stiff and sore and has NO strength at all. I still cannot bear weight on my hands, but I am trying to avoid doing push-ups and plank poses in my work outs…

Thanks for sharing this with me.....EVeryone has told me how awful the shots are pain-wise. I have less than half of my normal movement on my right wrist, and I need some help soon! The glucosamine is helping my other aches and pains, too!

Did you have normal mobility after the cortisone? The doctor did offer me cortisone, but I've only heard negatives about it......

I'm in week three of Turbo Fire, and I've actually lost some muscle tone.....I was doing a lot of yoga and power walking. Now, with the cooler, rainier weather, I thought Turbo Fire would be a great work out! Well, I'm not losing anything! I will stick it out.....thanks for the info. I suppose I need to stick with it a few…

Maybe we should start a group?

I am ordering Turbo Fire this week.....I've been debated whether or not to buy it, and I've finally decided YES! It looks fabulous, and I can't wait to try it!

The actual number of calories that your body needs is very individual.....You may not need the same number as I do, or as some other MFP contact. There is a lot of info out there that says 1200 is the "base" that all adults need each day.....Truth is: Everyone is different! How could the same number of calories for all…

Great idea, Heidi! I have 5 lbs. to lose to get to my goal weight....BUT, I've been thinking I might want to drop my goal weight by another 5 lbs! So, yeah....I'm in! I'll check back tomorrow!
