  • I was always really, really thin growing up. It wasnt until I got married and started BC that I really put on lbs. I was 130 when I met my husband (03) and I've seen pictures where I looked sick and underweight. I was 160 when we got married and all up until I had my son. I got to 152 due to bad morning sickness.
  • I just started the program in New Rules for Lifting for Woman. I am not a fan of cardio so I'm hoping strength training will help.
  • You must carry the weight well. At 173 I'm a size 12, at least around my midsection. Now I'm between a 8-10 and mostly because of my stomach. 10lb babies do that to a girl.
  • http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/body-fat-chart.php This is what I used.
  • According to the lean body mass calculations + 25lbs, my goal should be 148. Personally, I would look unhealthy and strange that small.
  • I was 160 pre pregnancy, got to 210 on delivery. I lost 20lbs within the first two weeks. It took me about 20 months to lose 20 more. Currently I'm at 167 and would like to get back to 160, but ideally 155 so I have some wiggle room when my husband comes home.
  • Any suggestions on how/what to do if you are limited to exercise at home? I have a treadmill for cardio, but my knowledge of weight lifting is very limited. I do have a set of dumbells that my husband left here.

  • I'm not a single mom, but my husband is deployed. I have a toddler and will be starting my second year of law school in august. I'm working an internship this summer.
