I had a baby in February and never lost the 30lbs I gained. I'm 17 weeks now and really need to keep the weight gain to a minimum. I'm hoping for no more than 12lbs

I am. I also have a 9 month old and never lost the weight I put on with her. I'm also at my heaviest and need to gain minimal, if any, weight.

Thanks! I'm just glad I'm not alone. Its very frustrating. I was actually at 1500 for a while and didn't lose. I upped to 1700 per recommendations on this board. I haven't "gained" from increasing from 1500 to 1700. I'm 6 ft and 172. Measurements are still the same. I did workout 1 of stage 7 on Sunday, but I'm putting off…

I did the first workout of stage 7 on Sunday. I was planning on doing the second workout today, but I'm still really sore from Sunday. I guess this means I should skip today? I just worry because I wont be able to get back to the gym until Thursday then. I'm also very disappointed with the lack of progress. I am stronger,…

Your stomach looks amazing! I really hope mine flattens out like that !

I'm starting Stage 4 tomorrow. Really hoping to see some inches or lbs come off though, since I still haven't lost any lbs' since starting in July and minimal inches : / Going to up my calories from 1510 to at least 1800 and clean up my diet though, so here's hoping for progress.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to keep an eye out for the digital food scale. I have my settings set for a sedentary lifestyle because I work in an office and am in school. 1510 is what MFP spit out. Recently it was recommended that I not eat my exercise calories back, which I started to do about 2 weeks ago. Some…

I took pictures the other day and compared to this time last year when I was 10lbs lighter. I look about the same, which is puzzling.

I'm in the same boat. My measurements and weight aren't changing, but I'll say halfway through stage 3 and I am seeing very slight definition in my arms and thighs. My rear is less flat too.

I am a full time law student with a 2.5 year old and a husband who has been deployed 18 out of 24 months, so I understand when there really just is no time. Do what you can on the weekends and maybe aim for another workout or two during the week. I also did New Rules of Lifting for Women over the summer after bedtime,…

Nobody? Really?

Thanks! I hope you're right. I know I really need to clean up my eating a bit too.

I'm having the same problem and I'm going to finish week 4 tomorrow. I've actually seen a gain though : /

Thanks! I know I need to get better on tracking and eating fewer carbs. I'll try to remember to take measurements so at least I have a comparison.

Just wanted to encourage you that it is possible! Im 6 foot and was 210 when I delivered my son in 2010. I initially lost 20lbs after delivery and then went from 190 to 168 from january '11- july '11.

Great job!

I finished the special workout for Exercise A yesterday. I was able to do squat 40lbs on a bar on my back for 37 reps. Since I work out at home I am limited to the weight I can actually get over my head. If I was able to go to a gym I think I could add at least 20lbs on the assisted squat rack and more reps. I stopped at…

You look great. I'm only an inch taller and maybe 5 lbs less but i dont look nearly as good in a bikini! I was also the same starting weight , 210 (at delivery.

I'm 6ft and 163. Ultimately I'd like to be between 155-160. How do you tell if you have a small or large frame? I just measured my wrist at 6"

Well, IS she busy? Are YOU doing everything you can to give her time to exercise, shop, plan meals? It really ticked me off when my husband made comments about my weight (and I was not overweight to start). He was deployed and that's all he could do during his "free time". I, on the other hand have law school, a toddler, a…

Im tall (6ft) so only about 2 stores make jeans that are long enough and are "Affordable" (Target and Old Navy). Ive been scoping out thift stores for months now and have yet to come across my size (now 8T- was 10-12T). Luckily since its summers I will be wearing shorts most of the times. Hopefully by the fall they will…

New clothes. I have one pair of jeans left that fit me. Being a law student, mom, and on one military income, I cannot justify spending $30+ for a new pair of jeans. I really wish I had not donated all of my other pre-pregnancy jeans :(

I've heard the "muscle weighs more than fat" before, but I've never understood it. A lb is a lb, right? I understand muscle is smaller and takes up less "space" than fat but I never really understood how that factors in.

Your stomach is amazing!

Great job! I can relate- I had a 10lb baby too!

I'm 6ft even and currently 165. I'd like to get to 155-160. I've got a fairly thin frame. I was 168 in my profile picture.

What are Chia seeds? How do they help?

Great job! You look like Amy Adams!

Ask you Dr. Pregnancy is hard enough, why risk additional complications that can be related to weight (pre-E,diabetes, etc.) Personally, Id try to drop the weight. Youre husband does not have a choice but to wait, unless he figured out a way to get himself knocked up, in which case you are off the hook either way.
