  • For the most part, I plan ahead for my splurge meals. For example, tonight I'll be going out to eat with my friends at a burger place. I have around 1200 calories saved up - a combination of eating 88 calories for breakfast and 500-ish for lunch - and I've been taking a break at work every hour to take around 1000 steps (a…
  • If time mattered, Spaniards would all be massively overweight (traditionally, a very large dinner is eaten around 10pm).
  • Being 110lbs would put you squarely into an underweight BMI. I wouldn't suggest losing weight unless you get the go-ahead of a doctor.
  • Veggies dipped in salsa. Also satisfies my sweet tooth.
  • Grilled asparagus are also delicious, see if they can spare some room on the grill!

  • I have to eat the lunch my school provides and it tends to be up there in calories. Today I decided to skip breakfast and see if I'm ravenous by lunch, and I wasn't. So I'm probably gonna start passing on breakfast from now on to give me more calories to work with in the evening.
  • Just remember that there *is* such a thing as too much water! I just go by my urine color. I try to keep it slightly colored. If it's clear, I've had too much, if it's looking more like lemonade/apple juice I know I'm not drinking enough.
  • I have to eat my school lunch, which is balanced for growing teenagers, so I tend to have to leave most of my calories for that. By the time I get home I generally have 500-700 calories left for the rest of the day. I'm actually considering trying out IF and skipping breakfast, but then I'm terrified I'll be starving by…
  • One reason some people gain weight when coming off of hormonal birth control is that they go from not having a hormonal cycle to suddenly having one again, and one thing that goes along with many people's hormone cycles is the cravings. If you overindulge those cravings, you'll gain weight.
  • Thanks for the input, everyone! I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the One, mostly because of the stair counter.
  • You need to replenish your electrolytes, frequent vomiting can really mess them up. See if you can get some gatorade (send a friend if you don't think you can get it yourself). Drink it watered down - two parts water to one part gatorade. Also, broth. Do you have any boullion cubes in the house? If you can't keep anything…
  • I'm an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan. The clearing the plate thing is because I'm supposed to set a good example, since the kids have to clear their plates too. Sometimes I manage to pawn some of my food off to the kids before eating, though, but if I've already started that doesn't work out. The meals are very…
  • I'm required to eat my school lunch, which is regularly between 600-800 calories. When I'm not eating with my students (3x/wk) I'm not required to finish everything, but twice I week when I do eat with my students I'm required to clear the plate. So I have a small breakfast and dinner full of protein, and eat veggies for…
  • I buy them. Try to look for salsa without added oil or sugar, it comes out to a very low calorie count that way :)
  • One of my favorite snacks is salsa, and instead of tortilla chips I dip carrot slices in it. What kind of veggies do you think would be easiest for you to start with? Sweet? Bitter?
  • You probably are getting smaller, you were just wearing improperly fitted bras before getting measured. Most women wear a bra with too large a band and too small a cup. I was wearing 40DDs, turns out I actually should've been wearing 36FFs. My boobs were the same size, I just wasn't wearing the right size.
  • Fun fact, a 36D and a 38C are the exact same cup size in volume! All that's changed is that your band has gone down (underbust has gotten smaller), the volume of your breasts are the same. Edit: This is what I get for not reading the other posts, lol. Sorry for repeating what so many others have said.
  • I work as an English teacher in Japan, and am required to eat the school lunches. They regularly come out to 700-800 calories. On Mon/Wed/Fri I don't eat with my students so I can pass on the rice or bread, but when I eat with my kids on Tues/Thurs, I'm required to clean my plate, and then I'm starving by dinner...
  • I've heard that the general rule of thumb is to try not to lose more than 1% of your body weight per week. So if you are 250lbs, that means 2.5-ish lbs is healthy. But if you are 150lbs, you shouldn't try to lose more than 1.5lbs per week. Disclaimer: Not an expert.
