That's a very good idea, I might try that (eating the 1/3 cup portion) and adding in a protein bar. The ones I get taste almost like eating a candy bar. Usually I would just eat all the oatmeal and try to keep it under 400 cal. looking forward to getting yummy and full for less calories.

I don't like the taste of the yogurt either but I couldn't live without it. Just use enough ingredients that you don't taste it. It's high protein and makes things creamy. I've been doing frozen strawberries (sometimes banana or blueberries mixed in) 1/4 cup greek yogurt (fat free of course) 2 tsp of vanilla extract, ice and blend. You have to play with it a bit to get the right consistency, and occasionally I'll add a dash of milk. Tastes like a strawberry shake.

I can't believe no one has suggested marinating in Italian dressing for a day, then grilling it half way, then put it in a foil pouch, pour in extra marinade stuff and cook until finished. Extremely tender, juicy and to delish.

You can use water as an appetite suppressant. It has worked wonders for me. If I am starting to get that "hungry" feeling, I drink a glass of water - the feeling almost always goes away.

I love apple cinnamon flavor so I have been doing 1 cup oats - quick oats work too 1/4 cup 2% milk (use whatever you like) 1/2 cup apple sauce 1/2 cup FF plain greek yogurt 1 - 3 teaspoons cinnamon mix and eat in the morning. I'm only guessing, but I think the complex carbs take longer to digest and don't spike your insulin. Also, they keep you full longer, I think.
