I work in a big company and one of the women I was sat next to sighed before asking me " how do you always look so glamorous" this lead to a discussion from my team who then voted me the most glamorous and sexy woman in our office! Now that's against a lot of skinny much younger girls, how lovely was that. Suffice to say I…

When I went away for a week abroad and stuck to my plan...despite the food on offer being all my favourites . I just viewed them as poison as I know how ill, sluggish and bloated a lot of them make feel me feel afterwards. Oh and I think ahead a lot of the time now. No more impulsively thinking " I'm hungry what can I have…

You're looking good on it too:flowerforyou:

The best and worst thing about the fitness and nutrition industry is that for every person's opinion, professional or not, there is a opinion from someone else which contradicts what they say. You can back up any argument with science or professional nutritionalists statements but the fact is, we will probably never know…

I think I like the idea of dating more than the reality! Most relationships are hard work and I care/ give too much. Just for now I'm concentrating on me, what do I like, what makes me happy. Losing weight is making me feel great, sexier and in control of at least one part of my life. So MFP is a dating site too? Win…

I've been low carbing for just 5 weeks, one of those was a week abroad on holiday! I'm loving cooking, trying new food. Eating clean feels right to me. IBS has gone as well. What does that say? Please feel free to add me, all support gladly received and given

Or maybe you're all very creative photographers! Either way I feel like I'm missing something!

Ok I've tried it twice now, once with cheddar and once with 1 oz /30 g Stilton. Oh oh oh!! It's a favourite that I would do even if I wasn't low carbing! My slice is tiny though compared to the photos I'm seeing posted on here. I make it in a plastic takeaway box so it's slice shaped but by the time I then make it into a…

Not tried it with cheese yet only as a MIM with cream cheese and low sugar jam on top. It's a lazy Sunday morning so...thank you this will be my breakfast today! I like the sandwich box lid idea to get a loaf shape. I'll let you know how I get on.

I do it too! It helps me stay focused and as I take in my lunch and snacks to work I don't cheat ...I then know exactly what I have left for the rest of the day. Weekends...now they're another matter!

i struggle to believe mine even when I am losing! I have to stand on get off, stand on , get off a few more times...then go and make my bed up then sneak back up on it and stand one AGAIN!! You are quite right though...eat right, do right and it's not just the number on the scale that counts.

The compliments are great but the feeling when you get to your goal will be even better!! Well done on an awesome journey so far.

You are already a winner...you recognised what was happening and with maturity and experience saw it for what it was ...a blip. Thank you so much for sharing , I am sure there will be many that will read this(and not necessarily comment) that will recognise what you have described and take strength that it CAN be overcome.

I said no to toast for breakfast after having a bread feast yesterday and suffering for it today. I also said no to something sweet with my mid morning coffee. That's 2 "no"s to add ...

Just logging what you eat daily makes you so aware doesn't it? The support on here is fantastic too...there is do much strength in numbers, especially when everyone has similar health goals. Well done on your loss!
