  • One of mine "blesses" us when we sneeze...miaows every time someone sneezes then goes up and gives them a love. He also plays fetch, bringing it back more reliably than any dog I've owned. Oh and he sucks too...anything furry gets a good suckling as he kneads.

  • Not now apart from a guinea pig but have had a pet goose, a pet goat, tortoises, budgies, rabbits, chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters, rats and probably a few others along my life (most were as a child) The goose would probably be the one that kept me the fittest, she HATED me and would chase me round and round the garden…
  • Seafood! I can eat crab all day long, prawns, lobster EVERYTHING but I better have an epipen at the ready as I have suffered a severe reaction more than once
  • I have a houseful of kids so no streaking to the bathroom for me. I at least wrap a towel around me but my dressing gown is usually on hand. • Yes it does but a HRM is the most reliable way for most people to calculate
  • I am kind of phobic about being sick and I do exactly the same when there is a sickness bug in the house. Maybe its not the best thing to do but the fear of being sick is greater than the hunger or the possibility of setting my weight loss back, I recently went 48 hours without food and only took in fluids (bitter lemon…

  • Sorry, I cant offer much in the way of help. Time really is the only healer here. I lost my 16 year old cat Puss (very original I know) to old age 9 years ago and vowed not to have another one as I was so upset but ...here i am today with 5 of them plus 2 more regular visitors. But I still think of Puss often...more with…

  • Locked! OP - This is a fast moving board, (20 million members) unfortunately that means that sometimes threads go unnoticed. If you don't get replies either bump your topic back up or repost. As you can see a thread to have a rant rarely goes unanswered and usually, unfortunately, gets lots of negative comments. Everyone…
  • Just log it as walking. There is no option to input your speed when pushing a stroller and that is probably where the difference lies. If I try it gives the same calories as walking at 2mph so calculate your speed and log as walking.
  • My cats are staring at me like i've lost the plot. I love it!

  • Locked! OP you have a point but if you (or anyone else) see a thread that you think is being derailed, or posts that you consider rude or unnecessary then hit the report button and let the admin/moderators deal with it. Topics like this, although started with the best of intentions, only cause more friction on the boards…

  • I just want you to imagine the exact opposite thread What is "too fat" with pictures of women of various weights going up. Then imagine your body type is described as disgusting, too fat, horrible, unhealthy or any of the descriptions posted in this thread. Hurtful? There are many users on here who are naturally very slim…
  • 100% this! Its so recent that your body wont know whether its coming or going yet. Give yourself 6 weeks minimum before you try restricting calories and wait til youre cleared medically before working out. When you do start do not go below 1600 calories, consume your breast feeding calories and your exercise calories and…

  • Ok.... This has gone so far off course that I'm not going to attempt to clean it up so its a lock I'm afraid. Please folks, think about how your words may come across before you post them. Women, whether they be obese or anorexic, are still women. (ETA I wasn't going for antonyms here, just pointing out that any woman,…
