EXACTLY! When I drop the little girl I nanny for off at pre-school, ALL the mothers, and I'm not kidding, I mean ALL are wearing workout clothes. And in all honesty, I sort if doubt that they've worked out. I nanny in a ritsy neighborhood and so it just makes me think they sort of wear them for attention. Thing is, I'm not…

Wow thanks! That actually really helps!!

Well there's 4 kiddos, 3, 4, 6, and an 8 year old and only the 3 yr old naps. And we don't ever watch tv. But I wonder if I could get then to go on a jog with me, hehe, and then put them in the chariot (stroller) so the two younger ones can keep up. This might be an idea... I just like to keep things interesting for the…

No :( I get up at 5:30 and have to be to work by 6:45. However, I am a nanny. I guess I shoul think of some more creative ways to incorporate exercise into my days. Any suggestions?

What is the app called???

Lol, hey it may be true, but not a bad thing! FB is all game invites anymore and it's being populated by the younger generation. At least you're addicted to a website that cares about your health
-
Any other?
-
That's what I thought! You look way younger! Congrats!!!

LOL., that is actually a very good question and something I have never given thought to. I think if you have dropped a SIGNIFICANT amount of weight, and refer to them as your fat clothes in front of your friends, and talk about how you never want to go back to that weight again, then I would be cautious. then again, it…

Extra skin!!! Thankfully, mine isn't saggy because I wasn't quite big enough or old enough yet for that to happen, but I lost 17 pounds and I still have a BUNCH of extra skin on my back and sides. It doesn't look gross but its kinda funny. My boyfriend says it dough like he's making a pizza hahahah

@Morningstar93 i lost 17 lbs this summer, and being that i put 10 back on, i feel like it all (most) went to my face, therefore yes, it will come off in the last few pounds~!!
-
wow tjhank you, you are very right, and i found your comment very encouraging!
-
thank you @fullat50 i just have a full face when i smile, but i'm accepting the fact that it's a work in progress. ...as i just ate a muffin, lol
-
haha, well thank you both. i guess it is just a work in progress

please feel free to message me with questions, when you're feeling down, needing encouragement, etc etc. i will help as much as i can! it's not a good feeling to be uncomfortable in your own skin, but at the same time, if you know you're overweight, it's good that YOU KNOW AND ACKNOWLEDGE that because THAT IS WHAT…

I like chocolate on chocolate. It's your birthday.

Well it sounds like we're all in the same boat! so let's all go to each other when we need that support. sounds like we all know how to have done it cause we have at least once in our life, so now it's a matter of keeping things going when schedules change! i've realized eating (bad) is a social thing!!! (at least for me!)…

best feeling ever right? I never thought I could say bye to chocolate cause I'm an addict, but I've cut down immensely, and now I actually ENJOY dark chocolate!

I was literally planning to lose 5 lbs. in October before I saw this post!

thank you thank you! :)

thank you everyone. the real issue is i am a morning workout person all the way, except, my summer schedule has me riding with my brother'n'law who will only go to the gym at night. :/ i used to always take in protein after my workouts but he goes so late, that i have to get up so early in the morning i have to get to bed…

1200 is the ONLY thing that works for me! I've been eating 1200 for about 4 months now and I've lost 15 lbs. :) if I go a little over 1200 a day or two, it won't ruin anything, but if I go a lot over, I will put weight right back on. A lot of people are concerned when I tell them I'm eating that much; they think I'm…

Thank you to everyone for your helpful and comical responses. :) I have seen girls bigger than I who have "chub" on their stomach, and no cellulite, and I've always said I'd rather look like that than have cellulite. But yeah, I am 5'4'' and have gone from 138 to 129.8 in about two months now from eating better and…

ahhhh, thank you!

thank you thank you

LOL, man! people are nasty, hahaha. i should've added i have been running four miles almost everyday. i have lost about 10 lbs of fat. i do not think i am a "skinny fat" person. i have a lot of muscle. just cellulite in my problem areas (legs and butt). i think of skinny fat people as the girls who can eat almost…

yeah, i've always had a curvy body. actually i have a dancer's body (but i'm not a dancer). thick legs, big booty. and i've been working my butt off. i have noticed it slowly reducing. it just seems like now that i'm in the healthy range it's still there. ugh
-
I weigh 131.6 and I'm 5'4'' so I'm technically in the "healthy" range for my height/weight ratio. Why then do I still have it?
-
It's not easy... at FIRST. But then it's just a way of life, really. :) I'm at 1200 for about a month now and it's not hard. Like someone else said, you just have to work out more, which in turn, takes more will power, but if you work out more, then eat those calories back! Then you're technically still at 1200, but you…
