Yup..and the resolutioners and their year long contracts that get paid whether they continue coming or not...is how you get new equipment to work on...that otherwise wouldn't be fixed or replaced!

I count anything above my normal activity. And I also find myself much more motivated to do extra things when there is a purpose. So if I could spend time on a treadmill to burn calories....or spend time cleaning the garage....it is nice to use that motivation to get something productive done...that I wouldnt have normally…

I like the motorcycle comment...makes sense. Looks like my plan will be trail if clear...treadmill if just icy...and snowshoes if real snow to go on... Time to buy my pup some protective booties I guess! :)

Well, years later, we bought a small farm..I was in charge of animal chores, chopping wood etc....lots of activity... Well...I got a "flu" that just wouldnt go…

yes, sorry, but I have to agree that if I said a snarky comment like that to someone I would be surprised if I didnt get sarcastic back... And as for the eating....I think the true step to a good future comes when you realize you are not on a diet....you are making lifestyle choices,,,and you just have to wait for your…

I would just eat a slice of pizza, and be very happy to have the willpower to just really enjoy that one. But nowadays I often enjoy my substitute just as much...I saute onions, leeks, garlic plum tomatoes and fresh basil added at the end...then scoop it in to a portobello cap...bake with a tiny bit of fresh parmesan on…

do you have kids? lol Yes, I agree the kids should eat healthy as well...but if I am making a mix of sauteed veggies and with brussel sprouts and such....just realistic that they will not touch it... Doesn't mean they don't have a pile of carrots and a pile of brocolli on their plate though...

I will also agree...Not potato chips...very light...but it does satisfy that desire for a salty crunch... And I make a batch and everyone has their hands grabbing some in my house even the 4 kids....which is a bonus(and a negative...lol)

Yup, amazing how you can be on track .. I was probably at the healthiest point I have ever been in my life...eating great...exercising regularly...slowly but steadily losing weight and feeling AWESOME... Then I was walking in from the store and all of the sudden barely could breathe..pulmonary embolism....blood clot in my…

Well..I went back in and was doing a walk on a treadmill...and this guy walked over...and says.. OMG..how have you been? Welcome back..I…

I feel your pain...I work online primarily..so am tied to a computer. I have to admit I am lucky though, as I do it mostly from home...so splurged and bought a laptop desk for my treadmill...and when doing things that are more brainless tasks....I do so on there at a very slow walk..but at least it stretches my legs a…
