Boohoo! I love Friendship brand, but can't find where I live now.

Another thing to consider is that stock and broth have similar calorie and fat counts, but stock has more protein.

All my snacks have to be packed for work. So shakes are not an option. Pretty much every day I take a boiled egg, a string cheese, and a half-cup container of cottage cheese. That keeps me comfortably full all day at work, and it adds very few carbs to my day.

Allow yourself many healthy snacks. Include some lean protein in each of them. Sort them out in the morning, and determine which you will eat at what time, and be sure to log it all on MFP then. If you have it all planned, it really helps.

The cravings and hunger are apparently due to low blood sugar during that time. I find that diligently eating a bit of lean protein at least every three hours helps a great deal. Carrots are great to help with the need for something to crunch on.

You're doing great! Don't forget that. Keep up the workouts, and get back on track with the food when the holidays are over. I go back to work Monday, so that's when my holidays are over. I intend to use my few extra holiday pounds as motivation. 2010 is a whole new year to begin anew and reach your goals. Enjoy it!

God bless my mother for taking me to the farmer's market and teaching me how to grow and cook vegetables at a very young age! She was over weight as a child, and did not want us to suffer like she did. One of my sisters and I have struggled with our weight on and off through the years. So our mother's efforts weren't an…

I'm currently addicted to fish and chips. There's a place really close to my house that makes sweet potato fries. Next time I go, I'm gonna see if they can substitute salmon. If I can get fried salmon and sweet potato fries, I'll be in heaven! I really have to limit the number of times I eat that though.

My favorites are boiled egg, string cheese, and half cup of cottage cheese

I have a million. Yesterday though, I notice a guy who entered the locker room in street clothes with a big gym bag, and then exited the locker room about 15 minutes later in different street clothes with wet hair. Apparently, he showers at the gym to save on his utilities regardless of whether he works out.

Yes, this site is a fabulous tool, but you are doing all the work. So don't forget how fabulous YOU are. Congratulations!

Get off the coffee drinks, and get hooked on their unsweetened hot and cold teas and herbal infusions. Zero calories, and you'll feel great! Better yet, order Tazo tea online in bulk, and just make it at home.

I like to log my entire day of food and exercise first thing in the morning. What's the saying? "If you fail to plan, then you actually plan to fail." Something like that.

I prefer to run alone and outside. I don't listen to music because I feel the need to be completely aware of my surroundings. I used to run with music, but I got attacked because I was completely oblivious to a man running behind me. I ended up getting away unharmed, but 20 years later the fear is still with me.

Thanks, everyone! BTW, I did spin class at 5:30 a.m., and then had a happy weigh-in. I'll be in the gym this weekend, but I won't be back on the scales until next week.

Try steaming the cauliflower. That should help with the texture, plus you can steam garlic cloves at the same time to whip up with it.

MFP has been an eye opener for me too. The important thing is that we are actually learning and making changes. Keep up the good work!

I changed my carb/protein/fat split to 40/30/30 in my MFP goals because this split works best for my body. If I used the default MFP split, I would have the same problem you're having.

My ex husband had a portrait studio set up at his sister's second home. He was taking pictures of naked college girls he recruited on the internet. This is why he is my ex. My last boyfriend of over a year fessed up to an addiction to lapdances (the extra special kind that can transmit STDs). This is the reason that we are…

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!!! Amazing! What an inspiration!

Eat some protein every three hours so that you won't be hungry and tempted to grab something impulsively. Plan all your food at the beginning of the day in MFP, and then you'll be more likely to stick to the plan.

You poor thing! Please remember that her daily exlax use is an extremely harmful disorder, similar to anorexia. She's only concerned with what the scales say. You however are working toward healthy fat loss. Consider yourself a positive example for her.

Focus on the positive things you did for yourself today. You won't see rusults immediately, but you are on the right track and you need to appreciate youself for that.

I used to sleep in my running clothes, with my running shoes and socks right by the bed. That got me in the habit of being an early morning workout person. Some people are much better in the evening or at lunch time. Find your personal best workout time, and then make it a priority. After a while it will just be your…

I absolutely agree with everything already said here. I follow the "several small meals" plan during the week, but stray back to the traditional three larger meals on the weekend. That works very well for me.

I am 5' 3" with a very small frame. I weigh 119 (size 2 or 4), but my goal weight is 110 (size 0 or 2). I have been as low as 102, but that is too hard to maintain. You can calculate your body fram size here: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/fsz
