GREAT input as always. I'll play it safe and consult my GI doc first. Thanks so much, you guys. I did try a small taste, I like them! If I can eat them, I'll be happy to mix them in stuff. They contain so many nutrients I could really use.

I'm addicted to grape tomatoes (as long as they're fresh) but I also love chewing pieces of fresh red cabbage. Helps the craving for crunchy snacks like chips. Both of which you can dip in light ranch dressing, or any dressing you like for extra flavor. Fresh cucumbers are great, and I also love broccoli. Eating too many…

I'm still here! I'm done with the Shred, but I'm doing some other Jillian workouts. How's everyone? How are you?

https://youtube.com/watch?v=kNMpTBEbZZ8 There we go. Level 2, in all it's terrible glory!!! lol
-
Me too! Ab moves aren't nearly as hard as say, the chair squats and those god-awful military presses. I really had a hard time with squat thrusts.
-
DONE!!!!! I'll get measurements up, before/after pics and a video up as soon as I can. :D
-
That's what happened to me BOTH first times I did the Shred. I gained about a pound of muscle, swelled up, THEN dropped in inches, and finally, a couple pounds. lol BUT this workout gets me in SHAPE, which is what I love about it.
-
Hahahah thanks. I meant every word. I still need to finish editing my recording of me doing Level 2. It's gonna be a bit delayed since I got a job.
-
I forgot to measure half-way through. For now, I'll just wait until day 30 and compare it to day 1. Less complicated. You guys all look terrific! The Shred does wonders on the belly.
-
I seriously think that arm workout helps a lot with toning. It DOES hurt. You have to do it almost everyday. I'm thinking in about 2 months it'll really show.
-
You are brave indeed!!! lol I know I couldn't handle HALF of level 2 without finishing level one. It sucks!!! xD Today was level 3 day 1 for me. I did great, but it still hurrrrrrt. hahah
-
@WannaBeCroft no worries. Life comes first, of course. But welcome back!
-
@shadow2soul oh my! I really hope your kids are gonna be ok, hun. That's a very impressive schedule you got there! How did you make that, btw? I almost have the Shred memorized. (The previous time I did it, I memorized it, but I need a timer to remind me when the reps can stop lol)
-
I struggled a bit on Level 2 today (This is day 14, I'm almost half done!) I dunno why, during double jump ropes, my mid-back aches like HELL! Either from plank moves or from the shoulder strength stuff. It's NOT comfortable to jump up and down after all that. I'm sure it'll get easier but now? ..............f--ing OW.
-
IT'S WORKING!!! 3.6 POUNDS LOST, AND 3 INCHES ALREADY, and I'm only on day 13!!! Mind you, I'm doing a little extra cardio each day after the Shred if I can. Dancing, mostly, for between 30 minutes or more. Or at least some power walking.
-
Dunno if you saw this yet. lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfy_bCO0m0U

OMG I know what you mean. By the time I memorize the workout, I play my iPod and ignore her. xD She can irritate me so. I don't like jumping jacks either. I know my legs are much stronger now. Now on Level 2, my thighs are hurting pretty bad, but it only lasts a couple of days. <3
-
I had to Google Tea Length dresses. lol I can't remember the last time I wore a dress...besides Halloween. xD I have THICK knees, so this kind of dress would look pretty on me.
-
. Both times for me, Level 2, DAY 2....had me in tears. lol But I could be a wimp. :D
-
Seriously, @shadow2soul you are KILLING it! You're such an inspiration!!!
-
lol YEAH, I remember a couple days in, it HURTS to laugh. That'll go away real soon. Just breathe easy, move around, do a little walking, hot baths always help me.
-
Yeah guys! Feel free to add each other! We all need support! <3
-
Me too! I use 5lb for chest Ys on level 1, and 3s for everything else for now. I eventually got strong enough to use 5lbs for almost everything. When I did No More Trouble Zones after, I used 6 pounders! You do get stronger with time. It feels great, even if it's just a pound more! A pound is heavy when you're doing static…
-
It's all good hun. I was the same way. I recently upgraded the Chest-Ys with 5 pounders though! :)
-
Update: Detox water, about 2 and half pounds lost. Not too bad, but I think it probably would've done the same drinking tons of regular water. But it was worth a try.
-
Been there, hun. You'll defiinitly need to recover tomorrow. Slow walking if you can, hot bath, and drink plenty of water. You'll be much better later this week. ;)

I'm kind of relieved! I don't care if I'm considered "fat" in the fashion industry. Now, I'm also petite! Ha-ha! lol How about plump, or sumptuous. lol VOLUPTUOUS is a good word too. Cute, nicer words for us thicker women. We be bouncy, not fat. But I wanna be bouncy but also firm and tight. xD
