I'm 6'. My goal is 165. I don't think I'll want to go below that personally. If I had a smaller waist I'd be more than happy at 175. I started at 225. I'm 189 now.

It isn't an energy drink it is considered a sweet sports drink'. It is fruit-flavored drink designed to supply the body with carbohydrates and to replace fluids and sodium lost during exercise. I have no idea if it is a good for people to drink it when they are playing sports or not. I see it all over during games.…

I do not restrict any foods really but I do know that if I want - say M&M's - I should go to the store and buy one single bag and eat it or share it. If I have a giant bag in my cupboard to eat 10 M&M's a day - well - that is probably a giant bag of M&M's eaten in one or two days. My will power ebbs and flows depending on…

I avoid things like pop, Gatorade, and juice unless I truly truly want one. I haven't had one in months. Same with alcohol.

Yes - commenting on weight is something I avoid unless the other person brings it up first.

For women: Transverse abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles take a hit with pregnancy. You can Google to get info on how to strengthen each. I'm not an expert so not going to share specifics for fear of giving out wrong info. There are small exercises and ways to hit it with other gym work too. I've done what feels…

Sometimes I gain a pound or two for what feels like no reason and it is fluid. If I eat to much sodium, I retain fluid. I retain fluid at certain points in my cycle. The fluid thing happens at least once a month for me. Adjust your sodium and keep on keeping on. :) For me - I promised myself I would not freak out or worry…

25-30lbs and two people commented. My aunt - who knows I was dieting..and my doctor - who may have cheated and looked at my weight before commenting, lol. I'm tall - takes a lot of weight to notice a difference. I've lost an inch (at best) from my waist so....boo.

I have had stalls too. Keep going. You *will* get past this. There is no doubt and no risk. There is a 100% guarantee that you will get below 210lbs if you keep following your plan. You can do it! I'm not sure what your calories are set at but make sure they are reasonable and then be very careful to log everything.

Have not read previous replies but my thoughts are -a) you can't really compare to when you were a teenager because maybe your tata's weren't done growing ;) b) when I was younger (I'm in my 40's now) weight loss did not really impact my cup size. c) my cup size has shrunk this time around. I mourned them for a few weeks…

One of my favorite sayings is "resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die." Find a way past this one (and all the others that are around the corner because life will present you with many). My mom also used to talk about the starving children. I hear that in my head. I finally told myself…

I plan to go out every 4-6 weeks and I eat whatever I want and go over my calories hugely and it doesn't hurt anything. I'd have to eat that way more regularly to really impact my goals. Even when I have had several unplanned 'way over calorie goal' days and gained a pound or two everything is OK as long as I don't throw…

Well I don't even like to cook but I do get hungry so that is my motivation, lol. If I lived alone I'm pretty sure I'd exist on rice and oranges, pasta and sauce, or raisin bran - then eat out the rest of time. Actually I did that for years, lol. Some things to do to make cooking a little more fun: try new recipes try new…

My cheat meals are when I go way over calories for the day. I plan one every 4-6 weeks (eat at this Chinese buffet I like). If only that was the only time I went way over my calories for the day. :sigh: Work in progress. I struggle at supper time when things get crazy.

Local grocery store - quick trips and if I run out of produce or milk. expensive. Hyvee - my major shopping trips. Better price and selection, better deli and I like the produce better than Walmart - can find things I want easier. Walmart agitates me. Walmart - I get food items there if I'm already there and need a few…

I think you'll just have to figure out how to not eat those foods. It is hard - I have to do it too and I'm torturing myself because I buy it for my kids, lmao. Us mom's - we buy our kids the things they like ;) And do insanity while she's at work. Problem solved on that one. How would she feel about you making supper a…

Where I live it is definitely more expensive to eat healthy. Fresh produce costs noticeably more than filler junk foods and are often not nearly as tasty - especially during the off seasons. There is a very high risk of produce not having any flavor at all or tasting like wood. Fish sticks are way cheaper than buying a…

I just reuse plastic grocery bags now but I'm in love with this bag. Might have to get them :)

Oh I totally agree. I was just speaking for myself. it is also totally possible that when I get there it won't look anything like I imagined. When I think of losing 30lbs it seems like so much - but when I think of how much my body changed with the last 30lbs - not that much really. Lots of people don't even notice :P

oh yes, I understand about the crazy busy mess. I'm a single mom of four boys also - two teenagers that eat anything not nailed down. You can add me as a friend if you'd like. it seems so overwhelming but I bet there isn't three things you can list that you do for yourself? This is my thing. I started in January and it is…
