Congratulations! What a great big smile you have :) Hat's off to your success.

I take one or two days "off" from the gym. I might ride my bike or walk on those days, just to keep moving, but it's not an official "work out."

Mine's open to friends, but it's nobody else's business.

Nope, because it won't help me in the long run. It's tempting some days, but I just don't do it.

Ice cream and good fries or chips.

Once a week, at the same time of day (morning, before breakfast in my undies.) There are too many daily fluctuations and I'd drive myself nuts if I weighed in daily. My hubby weighs himself 2 or 3 times a day, which I find OCD. Hahaha (he has never been overweight.)

Congratulations on formulating goals! I wish you great success in achieving it! One thing, you might want to dial back on that strength or alternate parts you're working on. Muscles need recovery time. I just began in late March, and I'm already stronger. Good luck!!

The "I'll be there before you" thing ...SO WHAT! Who says it's a race? 1200 calories is a tough thing to do and still get the nutrition, and I've had more days above 1200 than below. I'm down 11, but before menopause, I'd have been down even more. The pounds just CLING on for dear life after the pause!

That stuff is so good and I love it on a chicken snadwich with some avocado slices.

I'm living in the Commonwealth.

I, too, am one week in, though I just joined MFP a few days ago. We can do it! I'm going to make good choices at the BBQ I'm attending this weekend!
