I just started a simple resistance training routine this week. I Googled and found this workout: http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/dumbbell-only-home-or-gym-fullbody-workout.html I'll probably want something more later, but for now, I think it'll be a good start.

Back on July 23rd, (I left a note about it), I ate three pieces of my son's popcorn. He said, "You better log that!" I replied, "I will." And I did. :) It was only 4 calories, but it all adds up. I'm one who has to log every bite. I feel like I've cheated myself if I don't.

Mythbusters did a thing about superheated water in the microwave. If I remember correctly, only pure water will superheat. Any tap water contains minerals and such that won't allow it to superheat.

I've not lost one pound in a month, sometimes bouncing around a 1/2 to three pound gain, then dropping it off again; still no new weight loss for four weeks. I can empathize. It's very discouraging, though I'm keeping at it. :/

I weigh and measure everything, except those things I eat all the time; then I eyeball. I try not to eat up to my suggested calories to take into account "hidden" calories from any inaccuracies due to mis-measureing or if my eyeballing is off. :)
