Drink more soda. Clearly your body is in 'Soda Starvation Mode'.

It is different by gender. Your average heart rate is not 183 however. You really should get a different heart rate monitor if you want accuracy.

Your heart rate monitor is broken.

Move more, eat less.

I have experience using discipline as supplement. It works pretty well.

OP, first I'm sorry people like Mokey41 and ClassickQC aren't reading what you're writing. Second it's not your fault. Are there some things you can do differently? Yes, but for the most part you need to medicine for your ailments before you can lose weight. Hyperthyroidism is pretty serious and can hold you back in losing…

I think it's rather obvious you were jumping to conclude the OP is fat and lazy. Why else would that be your first suggestion? The OP knows themselves better than anyone on here and obviously if the OP knew she was fat and lazy she wouldn't be having this problem. You can sugar coat your judgement whichever way you want --…
-
Mokey41, I don't think you have any right to assume anyone to be lazy. For all we know, she's correct and really does have trouble finding a doctor just because of her weight. Please read the OPs post completely before passing judgement.

The burden of proof is on you to back up the ridiculous claim. There has been studies in laboratory settings where accurate calories consumed/expended always results in the equated weight loss if under caloric deficit.

I'm the hero you need. But not the one you deserve.

Enough to not have to post on the forum for the most trivial of questions.

Try a pen and paper.

As long as you're eating under calories you should be all set.

It's really not nice to comment about people's pictures on here. I thought this site was a no judgement zone?

Depending on your current fitness level, you may actually gain muscle and lose fat if you're a beginner. The advice I have seen states to eat a gram of protein per pound of body weight. Add in heavy weight resistance three times a week and you will minimize your muscle loss.

2500 calories sounds pretty high for your stats. Try 2000.

Yeah, be careful. You don't want to become Schwarzenegger over night.
-
Yeah. Tuna juice.
-
That's right. Eating more means losing more. It makes absolute sense!

Hi tlbrooks37, First, I don't think you gained 8 pounds. Weight is easy to fluctuate up and down depending on water weight so don't be discouraged. Second, I really recommend to do a different exercise than working with the Wii Fit. It can be inaccurate and not very intense for true exercise. I understand it's hot, but…

Try putting it on your harddrive and then posting it through the website.

Yeah no.

Agreed. I always over-estimate food, under-estimate exercise (more calories counted/ less minutes running). You also bring up another excellent point of attention. How do I get out of the center of attention? Should I change my profile picture to me in a bikini? That should probably draw attention away.

My point is someone cannot accurately gauge the calories 'burnt' breast feeding. If someone is unable to do so, at the very least they need to underestimate the calories 'burnt'. With food you can be almost entirely accurate if you eat the foods you can absolutely measure. Exercise a little less. Arbitrary bodily…

That's right. Calling people an 'idiot' or 'asshat' is okay, but if you make a joke about pokemon, that's it!
