You're a Christian, not a nun. LOL. I think it looks FABULOUS!

Simply because one accepts the inevitability of death and the futility of life does not mean that one would have no desire to have a healthy body while here. ;P

...been able to do a real push-up, but I will.

ROFLMAO!!! HAHAHAHa!

If you want to help your friend, I suggest you start with smaller goals than walking a half marathon. At her fitness level, that could be incredibly overwhelming. Maybe invite her to go for a walk a few times a week or perhaps suggest she get the Wii and play Wii Fit. Getting her moving is the first step. Facing why she…

Bah. I hate tabloid journalism. ;P

What a poor business decision on their part. That's a HUGE market they're missing out on. DOH!

I just went to the site and it allows you to choose what country you're in, including Canada. Now I'm really confunded.
-
I'm lost. They discriminate against Canadians? Sounds like South Park. LOL.

For myself, I have noticed that when my mental view of myself is not in alignment with my fit self, my body will not drop a pound regardless of my efforts. I now include meditations where I visualize and feel myself at my goal fitness level and weight. HTH.

IMO, you made two really good decisions: 1. working out 2. divorcing this guy. Honey, by taking care of you, you're taking care of your child. Keep it up!

Without seeing the email, I would like to think the individual had your best interests at heart. Without being able to see facial expressions or hear tonal inflections in an email, it's easy to misinterpret one's intent. Perhaps this person has experienced eating disorders in their past and is merely concerned for you as…

WOOT! I was hoping there was a forty and over group! I made the decision to make a lifestyle change in April and have been losing weight and getting fit ever since. I must admit it was a SA-WEET day when the Wii Fit finally said "that's overweight" instead of "that's obese". LOL. Who knew Mom was right when she said it…

I've used them all except for the new Biggest Loser. Personally, I like the EA Active. It's got a 30 day challenge at three different levels and you can create your own workouts as well. It'll make ya sweat!

 GRATZ TO YOU!!! WOOT!

I started the Cardio Max and Powersculp last week. I'll accept this challenge utilizing these DVDs. See you when I'm 10lbs lighter. WOOT!

I've tried two other high profile sites that cost but they don't have anything on MFP. Keep coming back, IT WORKS!

:noway: I'm having the same issue. I am eating healthy and taking supplements. I too am at a loss as to why this is happening. I joke with my friends about joining the hair club for men because it's getting so bad. OH NOES!

Just curious, why put an age cap of 35 on this group?

Throw the crap out! Quit beating yourself up for caving in, but make commitments to get back on track and JUST DO I! We've all been there. Forgive yourself and move on, but learn from your mistakes. YOU CAN DO IT!

My best friend, who is quite petite, recently underwent a breast reduction procedure. She had wanted one for years do to the debilitating pain she experiences of and on. She couldn't be happier. Says she wishes she would have done it years ago. Incidentally, she was quite athletic before the surgery and is now able to…

I have just the opposite problem. 1200 is too many. My metabolism shut down decades ago, so I feel like I'm eating all the time. I have to set an alarm to remember to eat! I suppose that's why I'm struggling with the weight loss even with all the exercise. DOH!

I started with the Wii Fit and worked up to the EA Active. If you're already use to some form of exercise, I'd go with the EA Active. If you've been sedentary for awhile, I'd start with the Wii Fit. I lost about 25 lbs using just these two programs when I first started out. Good luck! ;]
