Don't believe everything you read. Just because it's in print doesn't mean it's true.

WAY TO GO! GRATZ! KUDOS TO YOU! =]

Glad you're not my employee. Hehe. ;P

This is what I heard...blah blah blah blah blah. After eating only once a day for decades, I experienced first hand the effects of not taking in adequate calories to sustain a healthy body. I lost muscle, my energy was ridiculously low and my immune system sucked. That was my reality. Studies are great, but ever notice how…

This woman needs to take responsibility for herself and her weight issues. Everyone knows you can't just take a pill and lose tons of weight unless you're taking amphetamines or something similar. HOLY *kitten*, BATMAN, why do people sue for such silly crap? WE HATE HER! Hehe.

Hello, hello. I'm going to Louisiana next week for my first time; checking out New Orleans. Should be interesting as I'm from AZ. Hehe.

I'll be honest, it wasn't that long ago that I did not look forward to working out. I'm not sure when the shift took place, but now I look forward to getting up and working out each day. I hate rest days; they throw me off. Now, instead of motivating myself to work out, I have to FORCE myself to rest once in a while. I…

I don't have a scheduled cheat day, but if I feel I need to cut loose and let go once in a while, I do so, within reason. I think it has help keep me on track as well as confuse my metabolism a bit. HTH. ;]

YOU LOOK FAB-U-LOUS! WAY TO GO! WOOT! GOOD JOB!

Did she screw up your workout or just annoy you?

It's really easy to point out the crap in someone's back yard while overlooking our own. Just food for thought. ;P

You're in the right state of mind to make life changes. That, for me, was more than half the battle. You can do it! I look forward to seeing your progress! Good luck on your journey. =]

Rheign here. My current weight is 183; I hope to drop another 40-54lbs. I LOVE biking and fortunately I live in a climate that permits me to ride all year long. WOOT!

Here's the good news: you're making a life changing decision in your young adult years. Some people never make the changes, others wait until far later in their adult lives. You can do this. It was less than nine months ago that I would get breathless bending over to tie my shoes. I felt like I was several decades older…

Send them to work with him. He can still indulge and share with his co-workers AND it won't end up on your hips. Win/win situation.

It depends on what's at stake. Is there a prize for the Biggest Loser or simply a contest designed to motivate people to lose weight? If there is no "prize" other than the obvious benefits from weight loss, let it go. If there is a significant "prize" then let your feelings be known. You worked hard and earned it! Good…

Phoenix is fabulous. Plenty of Senior IT positions, weather is beautiful and we don't have that white stuff all over the place that makes your little guy shrivel, lol. Houses are wonderfully priced atm and the cost of living is reasonable. As long as you don't mind 115 degree days in May and June, no worries! Come on out,…

How about telling the person "you know, that really hurts" or "It hurts me when you say such things. I need you to refrain from such remarks". If you've tried letting them know but they don't get it or don't care, throw a zinger back! Sometimes you have to speak their language. If they're just an *kitten* and insist on…

The scale really helped me remember to drink my water. Not seeing the results simply because I didn't consume enough water was enough for me, LOL.

Hey Charles, I can relate. A few years ago my life seemed to fall apart. I'm not kidding when I say it was like a REALLY bad country western song, lol. Anywho, I got my wake-up call after breaking my ankle last February. I had become so sedentary and out of shape I couldn't even use the crutches! I made a decision right…

You could probably lose more than 1lb/week through proper diet and exercise. Few people have the luxury of working out several hours a day, but by making exercise a priority in your life, you might be amazed at the results you'll see. Good luck. ;]

Is it a mom and pop shop or a chain? If it's a chain, you can look up the nutritional information online before you go to help make an educated decision. HTH.

Gratz on reaching your goal weight and getting back on track after regaining some weight. Keep up the good work!

I would venture to say that the majority of the people on this site are food addicts. Some may be aware of it, others may not. Having an awareness that we "self-medicate" with food and making the decision to change our behavior is the most important step in the journey for those of us who do this. Thanks for posting this…

Don't cut the calories below 1200. Your body will go into starvation mode and you will gain even more weight. I have a tendency to be an extremist and it can work to my benefit or my detriment. I'd say just get back at it at a steady pace. HTH.
