Having a water cooler at home changes everything for my and my husband. I hate the taste of tap water refrigerated in the fridge. With the cooler, I never go long without refilling my bottle which I carry with me everywhere. I also drink about 2 x 20 oz a day of flavored water (Crystal Light, Nestea, etc.), it helps !

Weight can fluctuates by a few pounds every day for a number of reasons. Maybe if you jumped on the scale yesterday, you'd see a 2 pounds lost instead of a 1 pound gain. My point is don't focus too much on the number. and rather look for a trend. Keep pushing !

I can't eat anything solid closer to 1.5 hours from a run or I'll get those nasty side cramps. Since you run early morning, unless you feel like waking uo 2 hours earlier, I'd suggest you drink something, maybe a smoothie or a protein shake. Try to give at least 30 minutes between drinkable food and your run.
