  • How about some home made muffins/cookies/granola bars ? Or maybe a breakfast cake (http://www.bodyrock.tv/2009/11/13/bodyrock-tv-breakfast-cake/). I like to cook eggs and have mashed eggs with a touch of mayo ready in the fridge for a quick snack. Works well on a tortilla when you're heading out. Beside, any fruits +…
  • Is this the product you are taking ? http://www.optislim.com.au/modules/mastop_publish/?tac=VLCD_Shakes_Chocolate_more_info If so, the website do state it is 150 calories per serve / 450 per day if taking 3. Maybe they are recommending to do the shakes with milk or add something, which would bring up the number of calories…
  • EZ 55 is my favorite ! It's a big burner and time flies by cause the music is sooooo good  Keep pushing ladies !
  • The pill prevents you from experimenting the mood swings and other "side effect" of menstruation, currently known as PMS ;) I always thought I was a very lucky women for not having those dreadful PMS. It changed when I stopped taking the pill ! Some months are easier. Others are terrible. It's all about hormones. If you…
  • Could it be added stress from your job ? I'm one of those who's body reacts by melting down during stressfull periods.
  • Having a water cooler at home changes everything for my and my husband. I hate the taste of tap water refrigerated in the fridge. With the cooler, I never go long without refilling my bottle which I carry with me everywhere. I also drink about 2 x 20 oz a day of flavored water (Crystal Light, Nestea, etc.), it helps !

  • It's good to add Vitamine D during winter if you live up north but you multi-vitamin may already include enough. You shouldn't feel too concerned about missing vitamins if you have a balanced diet containing mostly fresh and whoole food.

  • I'm with you Estelle ! I'm fit (Zuzana's follower too ;), don't really have any weight to lose, pretty decent BF% , I eat well about 80% of the time but I still have that wobbling around my hips, butt and tights. Do you have a desk job ? I'm suspecting these last 15 years spent mostly seated are part of the reason my…
  • Weight can fluctuates by a few pounds every day for a number of reasons. Maybe if you jumped on the scale yesterday, you'd see a 2 pounds lost instead of a 1 pound gain. My point is don't focus too much on the number. and rather look for a trend. Keep pushing !
  • Hi guys ! Today is my day 5 of my modified Inferno Plan and... I woke up with a rumbling stomach today  But just so that it doesn't scare anyone, I haven't been starving at all these last days. It's the first time I stick this long to a very low calories diet and so I honestly spent quite a bit of time day-dreaming…
  • Can too much protein make fat? Yes, too much of anything will eventually turn into fat... with the only exception being water ;) I would personnaly not go behond 30% of protein, since I would be affraid to be missing on a lot of essential stuff only fruits, veggies and legumes can give you. General guideline recommend to…
  • Add snacks throughout the day, like nuts, fruits, yogurt, or smoothies. You'll easily reach it ;)

  • Here's some reading I came accross yesterday on that very specific topic: http://www.thatsfit.ca/2010/04/08/10-tips-to-break-through-a-weight-loss-plateau/
  • Like you, I always wanted to run, but every time I tried I found myself feeling miserable and thought running and me were just not compatible. I gave it a new try this year after I came accross a free guide from New Balance, for beginners. The guide contains a schedule where you go really progressively so your body has…
  • I can't eat anything solid closer to 1.5 hours from a run or I'll get those nasty side cramps. Since you run early morning, unless you feel like waking uo 2 hours earlier, I'd suggest you drink something, maybe a smoothie or a protein shake. Try to give at least 30 minutes between drinkable food and your run.
  • I bought it just before Christmas ! I like it and I too had soreness in my bum bum the first few days  I did follow the schedule for about 30 days then started to add/switch workouts. I still do one of the brazil butt lift workout pretty much every day, along with some more intense cardio, bodyweight training or…
  • I bought Turbo Jam as well and got completely hooked, so much that I'm now an exercising frantic  Also from BeachBody, I got some P90 Master series DVDs but I'm lacking motivation to do them. Most recent purchase is Brazil Butt Lift which is great ! BeachBody products are on the expensive side, but you don't just…
  • Thanks ! I guess I'll have to pay greater attention to proper hydratation, though it's not really possible to drink as much as they recommand during the workout.

  • If your breast is not too big (up to a C or small D I'd say) I recommend a Nubra. I love it ! 100% no show and quite confortable once you get used to it.
  • Québécoise ici aussi ! :drinker: Hésite pas à demander si tu peines à t'y retrouver miniscarbel !
  • I hear you... My own DVD collection is growing fast  I'm sticking with Beach Body products though, but probably just because there are so many DVDs to chose from out there, it's easier to pick from a single source. My latest is Brazil Butt Lift - love it ! I keep meeting with Charlene every other day though, just…
  • You might also find that you have a high max heart rate. The common formula of 220 - age is just a formula, no absolute truth, and the resulting number can be off the track for many of us.
  • The first thing you have to do is to download a software to install on your computer which will allows the HRM to communicate with the computer. You can find it here:…

  • Raphi do you just do the cardio workout, or do you do the complete Turbo Jam schedule ? If you include Turbo Sculpt and Ab Jam 2-3 times a week, you get a pretty good toning. I got a 6 pack doing Turbo Jam and went from 32% body fat down to about 22% in 100 days without even counting calories. But it took 100 days to see…
  • Not sure about vitamins but too much calcium can be a problem as well as too much iron too (you should never take iron supplements unless told to do so by your doctor)
  • I read about possible water intake during meal causing bloating. Since you pay attention to what you eat and had to go to restaurant, is it possible you've been drinking quite a faire amount of water WITH your meal ? That could be causing the bloating since it dilutes the stomach acids that are required for proper…
  • I don't have specific receipe to suggest but I searched on eggs replacement today  It seems you can replace eggs by tofu, ground flaxesseds or other combinations of ingredients depending on what you're baking. Here's the page I found today: http://www.wikihow.com/Replace-Eggs-in-Your-Cooking
  • I'm using Tight Curves powder. It has 14g of soy pro'r serving (90 calories, 4g fat, 4g carbs, no sugar) plus PeptoPro, Calcium (50% of the recommended daily intake), Black Cohosh, St. John’s Wort and Folic Acid. Vanilla tastes really good ! I'm blending it with a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a cup of…
