Right there with you! It's been a few months since I last logged and today is my first day back. Feels good, right? Congrats and good luck :)

I don't have anything really helpful to add, but I will say that I am a binge eater. A little less than a year ago I was 15 pounds lighter than I am right now after spending a few months logging on MFP and now, after a 3-4 month hiatus from logging and regular binging I am really struggling :( But, today is my day 1 with…

I'm in! And my calves are killing me from yesterday!!

I could not say enough good things about yoga! It is SO good for you in so many ways! There are lots of different kinds and they all have benefits, if you're looking for weight loss you're probably going to want to look into vinyasa or ashtanga style yoga. But for toning any kind of yoga is going to be amazing :)

I have a compression fracture in my thoracic spine and doing any kind of crunching (forward bending) motion can really exacerbate it so the best abdominal workouts for me are where you lie on your stomach. Stuff like "superman." I do a lot of yoga and it's usually called "locust" (ew) and there's also "bow." Another great…

I'm in! Just did 50 with a jug of apple juice :)

if you have trader joes where you are, they make 100 calorie bars that are delicious.

We all have crappy days, some of us (me) are more prone to comfort/mindless eating than others. Avoiding several thousand calorie binges is a daily battle for me and unfortunately when I succumb the only thing to do is to accept that it happened, accept that it feels pretty crappy, and move on. Just wake up the next…

You look GREAT!!

I've been around a while and I could use a push too :) Welcome!

MFP calculates a daily calorie allowance for you to lose weight without exercise. For example, if I want to lose 1lb per week I should eat 1500 calories per day, which creates a 500 calorie deficit per day (for me) or 3500 per week (3500 calories = 1lb). If you exercise it adds to your allowance to keep your deficit at…

In general I find that the more you vary your routine, the more soreness you feel. Soreness is most often caused by working muscles that aren't as accustomed to being worked - which in my opinion is a really good thing. I hardly ever get sore any more but I LOVE it when I do :)

Exercising in the morning Is WAY better than coffee! :)

I'm 5'9, maybe more like 5'10" when I'm standing up straight :) I'm currently 148 and I wear a small 8 (gap) or large 6 (levis, some other brands) in jeans and medium in most other things. My goal is 135-140 depending where I feel good.

I have a big problem with binge eating myself, and I have found that I have certain trigger foods (for me it's processed carbs and sugar) that tend to induce binging. Starting yesterday, I am eliminating those foods from my diet and so far I feel much less inclined to eat more/more often than I should, or eat those "bad"…

hate to be the bearer of bad news but I generally find the higher calorie estimates to be much closer to accurate...

lol...SO true!! I just finished my TOM thank goodness but last week I was a ravenous psychopath 99% of the time. ICK!

Hey there! I'm looking for the same thing :) I'd love to be added.

I would definitely put the mustard greens in! They're a more durable green, like kale or collards so they may take a little bit to cook compared to peppers (unless you like your peppers really well done) so maybe throw them in first for a bit or even steam them til they're almost done, then put them in with the other…

I love wraps and was just using regular tortilas but then I found some whole wheat, high fiber tortillas that are only 50 calories each which is AMAZING. The brand is (La?) Tortilla Factory and I found them at a QFC here in Seattle (which is related to Kroger in other parts of the country I think).

Holy crap! You look AMAZING!!!

hangovers are primarily caused by dehydration...so the most important thing for you is to drink as much water as you possibly can.
-
lol I am here because I love to eat...I have NO problem eating my calories.
-
homemade popcorn that's not covered in butter and oil! Fruits, veggies (esp. crunchy ones)...the main thing is just making sure to have something on hand that is a healthy alternative. You might also like eating many small meals a day instead of 3 big ones, it feels like snacking :)
-
well I'm 5'10" and roughly 160-165 in my profile pic... edit: I have NO muscles...why does everyone else look SO much better at 160?!
-
ooh I'm 5'10" too and I've never been below 145 so I have no idea what I'd look like - I'd loove to see some ladies in the 130's at my height :)
-
wow, that's a great list lisajuly!

I personally am of the mind that you should eat as many of your exercise calories as you want: if you're hungry, go for it, but I don't think it makes any sense to eat when you're not hungry!
