And therein lies part of the cause of our weight problem. The amount a restaurant serves is sometimes up to 6 servings! I agree with others though that in time you will adjust. It IS hard at first, and very eye opening when you measure out your meals.

Stand on the "squishy" side and do bicep curls, is great for core/balance training while working your arms. Tou can also do tricep kickbacks this way. Also just learning to stand on one foot on it.

I have the Bodymedia Fit (made by same company) and I tried using their tracker but I ended up having to recreate so much so I came back here. I track my food & exercise, and then just enter my total calories for the day as a "Daily Estimate" on my BMF site. I dont know if the Bodybugg has a "daily estimate" option or not…

The "Deck of Death" as my trainer liked to call it lol

I've had the BMF for about 2 weeks now and loving it so far. I too love that I see how well (or not) I'm sleeping. I bought mine off Ebay, so I had to sign up for a subscription. As far as sleeping with it on, I don't even notice it. In fact one time I almost forgot to take it off before my shower becuz I tend forget I'm…

I too have high arches...and heel spurs, so I have to have some orthotic inserts. Regardless of that I love Asics brand. I have the Gel Nimbus since I'm an underpronator (I learned this after running in the wrong type of shoes lol). Asics has a shoe fit chart at http://www.asicsamerica.com/sports/running/shoeFitChart.aspx…

I'm finding the Slow Down thing works. At the gym I'd watch these seasoned fit runners at speeds of 6, 7, 8 mph. Feeling like I should be able to, I was trying to run at 6mph but couldn't run longer than about 2 minutes. Finally about a month ago I decided I was going to try the slow down approach, and set the treadmill…

I can use a regular treadmill fine most of the time unless my vertigo is really bad. However, the ones at the gym that have the TV screen attached to them, big no-no for me. As someone else said, find a point/area to focus on, that usually helps me.

I did some research on protein bars since many of them are, like others here said, basically a glorified candy bar with a ton of sugar. I came down to deciding to purchase these: http://2to1proteinbars.com/whitecrispycrunch.html ... they are basicaly a meal replacement, but low carb and low cal with tons of protein. And…

I had that and loved it....and now I can't find it any of our stores anymore. *cry* Now I eat Chobani brand,

I've also had this in the past and what's saved my feet in having a good pair of support inserts. Not the cheapy Dr. Scholls you buy at Walmart. I got some SOLE inserts that are heat moldable. They cost me about $45 and had a 90 day money back guarantee. After wearing them almost the 90 days they weren't quite cutting it…

I never had a a weight gain problem when I was on Prozac. I wasn't trying to lose then, but it didn't cause any gain. Effexor on the other hand, I gained 40 pounds on. And that is one of the worst drugs to wean off, I now strongly advise against it. I'm currently on Wellbutrin and haven't had an weight issue with it (my…

I usually bake one up for me and whatever I don't eat I scrape out and put in a tupperwear and keep in the fridge. As someone else said, it'll keep in there for a couple days. @tater8589 you should be able to find that at most grocers or farmers markets right now. I grew my own this year so I don't have to keep buying them…
