Im a night shift RN. I usually pack some fruit and then some type of protein with a veggie. When nights are slow it seems so hard to avoid the vending machine. I usually try to sip on tea when I start to feel tired/hungry.

**BUMP** So I back tracked some. I am 26, Im now 140 39/30/40. Been concentrating mostly on lifting weights and carb cycling. Id like to see how everyone is doing and if they were able to keep with it. Of course Id love to hear new input as well. :D

cereal was a big one for me I felt kix would be good becuase it didn't appear to have all the sugar of oh lucky charms or coco puffs lol. IT is quite shocking tho to learn how much sugar, carbs and fats some foods can have I used to get really mad when I started logging but you will learn how to adjust your eating habits.…

raised most of my weights by 5-10 pounds and walked up 70 flights of stairs instead of my usual 60. :D

idk about a scale but the sodium content is very high and their is very little nutritional value. That being said I do crave them about once a month

I dont bring it up I wait for someone to say something about the way my body changed it makes me feel really proud of myself when I know someone genuinely noticed and isnt just trying to be nice

I use muscle milk you can get it in individual servings or in a big bucket of powder I think 2.5 pounds for 35 dollars at GNC. i usually drink the vanilla lite after my work out.
