I think the online calcs work pretty well with accurate measurements. I take wrist, forearm, neck, waist, and hip measurements. You've probably done this, but just in case you haven't, you can find a variety of BF calcs by just googling it. Plug in your measurements and you'll get a BF % that should be good +/- 2% This…

Are you measuring?

I keep a 1 QT bottle (originally an Ice Mountain Spring Water bottle) by my desk at all times. I usually just sip on it during the day and I go through 2-3. It's 33.8 ounces per fill, so I get my water that way. On the weekends it's always harder, because I'm not at my desk and I'm on the go. I shoot for hitting my goal 5…

don't expect to lose that much all of the time! it''s probably a combination of things, but good job! That's encouraging. The key here is consistency. Try to stay off the scale as much as possible and measure instead. =)

must have crashed it. it says it's getting too many requests, lol

This isn't mandated until it takes effect in 2014. Some states (FL, for example) aren't currently complying with this mandate yet.

Woah.....why post this on a weight-loss forum? Smooth...

I don't see any fat attacks here. I see attacks on a private company's profits. Profit is such a bad word. Mirroring what's already been said, I definitely don't want you (or anyone) to be in this situation. I'm damn proud of you for doing your best to change it. You have a right to be upset at their determination, but…

This is completely subjective, but I love HIIT. It's quick and incredibly effective! It elevates your heart rate quickly and makes you a faster runner. I've been doing HIIT 3 days / week with longer, constant runs on the in-between days. For cardio, there's nothing better in my book. I strength train for 45 min and then…

I'm a firm believer that those scales are nowhere near accurate. Measurements are really easy to take and are actually really encouraging. They show you that your body composition is changing when the scale won't budge.

This will be repeated over and over, I'm sure, but don't waste your time/money with supplements. Just continue eating/exercising at a calorie deficit and you'll lose the weight and keep it off. The only "supplement" I would endorse is some sort of protein after heavy weights.

Lots of good stuff above! Cardio-wise, my favorite exercise is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). I normally do it 2-3 times / week with more solid state cardio on the in-between days. I'm pretty hard-core when it comes to cardio, however. Weight training is a must!

I did the Tough Mudder in April. I thought it was amazing! It definitely challenged me. Good luck finding one in your area.

No one else sees the irony? The Wizard of Oz was a sham. Did he name himself Dr Oz just to rub it in everyone's faces?

I wouldn't dump him. He's probably not trying to be a jerk. My guess is he's trying to show you that he loves you with or without the 5-10 lbs. As a man, I like a larger cup size just like the next guy but I doubt he's that dumb.

Always after strength-training (mornings).
