I'm glad to hear you say this. I have 7 to 8 pounds to lose, have exercised every day and reduced my calories and not a pound has come off yet. But I shall persevere! : )

How many calories doe MFP tell you to consume (without counting exercise) to get to 116? That's my goal at 5 5" and it said 1200. Does that sound low? I don't mind it being low if that is right I just don't want to put my body in starvation mode and lower my metabolisim. : )

Nope. I am with you on that. It creates mucus and I just feel more bloated and tired personally when I consume it. I drink rice and almond milk instead and so do my kiddos. There are far more negatives than positives when it comes to health regarding milk. You just don't hear about it because milk is so heavily promoted.

Im currently 123 and my goal is 116. I'm 5 5" and 41 years old. This site said I should be eating 1200 (not counting exercise) to reach that goal. Does that sound too low?

Every body is different. I've seen spinning studio instructors with bird legs and others who look like they are on an Olympic ice skating team.

Congratulations on your utter success! I have been pretty small since high school,. I lost weight at 20 years old by simply eating when I was hungry and not for recreation! Then, after I had my 2nd child (at 35) I somehow got down to 109 pounds (at 55"). Way too skinny. Thank you breast feeding. At 41 I am 123 and want to…
