I'd say it's 70% diet, 30% exercising. You can't out-exercise a bad diet. However, you should make sure to pay attention to both of them. 1 hours of exersice a day is fine, no need to over do it. Strength training to keep your LBM, some cardio/HIIT and you're save. Do you have any health conditions? If not, there is…

Hey there. First off, 1200 or even 1400 aren't enough. You recognized your weight bouncing up again as soon as you started eating more. If your TDEE is 2060, you should eat ~1650 kcals a day (TDEE -20%). Try hitting your macros. A common split is 40% carbs, 30% protein & 30% fats. Take some time to work out what split…

No reason to be nervous! :) There's actually not much to care about; running is the most naturally work out. Just make sure you have the proper running shoes for your feet, e. g. the right cushioning.

"Weight loss isn't linear", /sigh. It's only been 2 weeks. :) Just because your weight itself isn't changing doesn't mean your body isn't, too. Just keep doing what you're doing and be patient. Measure yourself every 1-2 weeks. And if you're still stuck in 2 weeks or so, try doing a refeed day or switch work outs up.

I actually would suggest you to do TDEE - 15%, since you don't have that much weight to lose.
-
TDEE - 20% is the way to go. 1200 net cals per day seems to be the standard target MFP creates for women no matter age, height, SW. It's BS.

Seriously, WTF is oatmeal water?
-
Don't forget - No carb - Lemon water - Brush teeth when hungry - and last but not least: SLIM FAST!

^^^ This. More likely to be water retention. Measure & log EVERYTHING you eat (even fat you use in your pan to fry, stuff like that), check your TDEE, make sure you eat ENOUGH.

So recumbent bikes are only for people that don't take their cardio session serious? Well, I always thought they are a good conclusion for people with serious back disorders that can't sit on a spinning bike for too long. Like me.

Amen.

What's your current weight? If you're not overweight, I'd recommend a loss of half a pound per week. Don't rush it. I wont recommend an "ideal weight". BMIs su*k. Just take a look in the mirror and decide if you're happy with what you see.

Rice cakes. The natural ones, w/o salt. I preach them.

Hey there! Same here, there are other girls in the gym but they're just doing cardio mostly. You just have to do the first step and walk into that weight section LIKE YOU OWN IT haha. If you know you can do it it's even easier. You'll soon get used to it! Those huge men intimidated me at first, too, and now I know 80% of…

I see your target for sugar is 24g - you can easily up it to 40-50. But as dupaboo said - if you know your sugar sources are natural you can just hide it; that's what I did, too.
-
It's not even important if you go over your carb intake (as long as you DON'T watch macros). All that counts is your calorie intake, no matter where it comes from. :) Don't panic over fruit sugar - it's all good as long as it's natural sugar. And MFP sets a really low sugar goal, anyways.

If you calculated your maintaining calories right you're having an average deficit of 1,700 calories a day, which is WAY too high. 1 pound is 3,500 calories, which means you should create a daily deficit of 500 calories. I wouldn't recomment losing more than MAX 2 lbs per week, which would mean you need to have a deficit…

So you eat unter 1,200 calories a day? There's the issue.

If I could choose, I'd work out in the AM. But I gotta get up at 5:30AM for work anyways; if I wanted to workout before I'd had to get up at 4:30 or so. Defenetely not possible. I work out right after work between 4-5PM, or I get home first and get to the gym later, sometimes even at 10PM depending on how busy the day is.…
-
Yep. I actually always work out indoors (home or gym) so it's not THAT bad. But when I get to the gym I already got the sniffles and look as if I'm crying so everyone keeps staring at me haha. Do you work out outdoors? Just try to do something inside.

Take it easy if you're not used to it. & make sure you drink enough water.
-
There ain't no shortcuts to avoid it. Just focus & quit it. :)

Never heard of that. Why should/could that be?

People with a poor spelling are smarter than you'd think. :)

**proper. :) Not meaning to be rude. But I don't think the OP wanted to be rude, so we shouldn't be either.

Rice crackers, fruits, veggie sticks w/ hummus or cottage cheese, soy yogurt w/ honey, apple w/ PB, eggs, ...

It doesn't matter if food is cooked or not; what counts for weight loss is the amount of calories you eat. I usually have 2 cooked meals a day; sometimes 3.
