Muffin top, thunder thighs, reverse Popeye arms (when the spinach wears out and the arms sag). However, I have managed to lose a lot of the muffin and all of my second chin. My arms and thighs are getting smaller too, but it is a long and ridiculously slow process.

Freaky, but very cool story. Oh and I love the use of the word "brekky." LOL

A pretty party girl. Too bad I don't fit the description. ;)

Someone who enjoys going out for a night on the town.

You look fantastic. It really is amazing what a difference your loss has made. But more importantly, I'm sure you feel better and when you were 100 pounds heavier you wouldn't have had a conversation with "your trainer." So kudos! I have the same problem as you do though. I'm down a lot less than you are, but it is really…

I'm one of those "bad" folks that weighs daily. However, I realize that there are ups and downs. So long as the overall trend is down, I don't worry too much about it. I also only record the "victories" in MFP. Perhaps this is the wrong way to do it, but it keeps me positive and motivated.

Sounds very plausible to me, but how does it explain things you feel and hear, but not see? Just curious. I think you are right. In most cases, the most obvious answer is the most likely answer. My experience had nothing to do with seeing, but feeling something.

Honestly, it's hard to say. I'd just do what you feel is best for you, so long as you don't go anorexic or anything. I'm shorter than you and started at 218. I have a goal of 140 for right now and will re-evaluate when I get there. I have a feeling that with my body type if I go much lower that I will look unhealthy. But I…

Heck no! I'd probably break the camera. LOL

This. Plus, eat foods you like and try to find an exercise you enjoy. For example, I will often play games on the Wii to exercise because it is fun! This venture started for me to stave off diabetes and it has worked.

Thanks! Funny thing is that I don't see the difference most of the time. I certain do feel the difference though. I think the last time I was in a size 14 was in college. Crazy!

Do you have a doctor? If so, I would consult with him/her and ask what they think is a healthy level for you. Or you might want to seek out a nutritionist. I know those can both be expensive options though. For me, personally, when I eat closer to my goal each day, I tend to lose weight more than if I undercut it. I wish…

This is my first attempt at doing some before and after pics, so we'll see how this does. LOL I started out busting my way out of 18W.

I would ask him why he got so chubby. My sister's ex said to her one time that she was getting fat. She is 5'4, weighs 105 pounds and compete on a cycling race team. Turns out he was just expressing his own insecurities. It also pointed out the fact that he was clueless.

Add me a list of the short girls. I'm 5'1 and started at 218. I am not sure what my highest ever was, I was afraid to get on the scale, but am guessing it was about 10 pounds more. I'm down to 170 now and am hoping to get to 140. Right now I weight the least I have since the mid 1990s.
