Do you like boiled eggs or yogurt? Have you tried the Subway salad with the chicken (or double portion of chicken)? No sure if that is wise but it would up your protein. I like the tuna packets @ Walmart or Dollar General (they used to be a $1 a pack but now are $1.37) they have a variety of flavors. Apples/ peanut butter…

I'm like @FitPhillygirl I've had hypothyroid for a couple of years and on a low dose of Synthroid. Weight loss would come and go for me until my stomach started bothering me in the Summer of 2015. I tested negative for Celiac's disease, wheat sensitivity/intolerance and gluten intolerance/sensitivity. My doctor still knew…

I may have to check that for myself because I was taking everything together.

@haackta I have more than 26 pounds but it is a nice starting point. I would like to lose 28 more pounds after that.

You could start off with modified pushups (or wall push ups), squats and jumping jacks. Also make a list of things you would like to have and start hitting up yard sales in ritzy neighborhoods (no offense), but you can find great things there. I have purchased a Bosu ball, and a Polar watch. Could have gotten a punching…

I lost track at 35, but I know it is over that. Thank you guys so much for joining and I hope the challenge helps everyone...whether motivation/weight loss/confidence etc.!!!

Okay I have done my first post for 2017...to lose at least 20 lbs would be extremely awesome for me!! At that moment I may be upset but I just need to remember where I have been weight wise and that I DO NOT want to go back there.

@asrai50. I may have to "borrow" your Goal/mini goal template!!!
-
Your goals and mini goals sound like mine!!
-
1. Have a 10% goal I'm working and hope to complete that (10lbs to go) 2. Lose another 10% of body fat 3. Stay active and healthy (back has been bothering me) 4. Stay focused and motivated (no matter what everyone else is saying)

I haven't been doing too well this week, so I'm ready for the challenge. My back has been hurting for the past 2 weeks so I'm hoping to do better as it (my back) gets better.
-
@Sensationalij I will be happy to try to answer any question you may have.
-
It is essentially for starters but anyone could do it. If you want to advance it make it 2 pounds a week or 3! It is really up to you.

Hi I'm @ 237lbs,and definitely want to lose 50+lbs. I'm starting a challenge in January called "26 lbs in 26 weeks!!" if anyone is interested.
