Hi Sandy, You look lovely in ALL the pics. In the middle one I can see you have the potential to build some muscle and get some cool abs. Your BF is VERY cheeky to suggest to a women that she lose weight. It's a very sensitive subject for most people, and I suspect he knows this, which is a little cruel, especially as you…

Hubs and I are on a mission to do the original Guild Wars from start to finish together with 2 characters playing alongside. It's fun and seems a lot easier than it used to be!

Oh and good trainers! If you can afford it, go to one of those running shops and get specialist trainers suitable for your feet alone. Blisters ain't fun.

I'm not a natural runner either, I get exhausted after only a minute or two. But the best thing to do is run with someone else, maybe to start with, so you aren't tempted to stop every 30 seconds. They keep you going... If not, then the best advice is to just keep going, no matter how slow your jogging gets - hell, people…

Nothing wrong with a bit of back, sack and crack.

Don't be disheartened by the journey! If you take it steady at 1 pound a week loss, this time next year you will have lost nearly 4 stone...think about that.

I'm 5'6'' and I'm going for 140 pounds.

No. It isn't. If you've got a problem with it, then it doesn't come in the house. If other people in the house have a problem with it then they can sort themselves out.

Don't keep junk in the kitchen!

Now that's a product I would like to see on the shelves...

I find that if it's in the house, I'll get round to eating it eventually - make your home a binge-free zone!

Hi bc - I'm new here too, joined yesterday and lost 35 pounds so far* and have about 20 or so to go. *not since yesterday, I hasten to add. There's got to be plenty of different types of exercising out there that doesn't involve too much on the knee...

Ha ha! I've been for a 3 mile walk today and done about an hour and a half of housework - saving those wine calories for later in the garden!!
-
Yes - the best thing to do is lose about a pound a week - that means you get a long time to get used to the routine of eating well and exercising regularly and are less likely to fall off the wagon, or even worse put the weight back on! That said, the heavier you are then the quicker it comes off to start with - as you get…
