I agree. MFP is great for helping you calculate the calorie amount needed to lose weight. Anything less than 1200 probably isn't good.

Calories are 1200 Goal weight is 150 lbs Height is 5' 8" I almost always eat my exercise calories.

Pizza...there's just something about it that makes me go beyond a normal portion...I avoid it on days when I'm not feeling I can fight the impulse to eat more than a serving.

I find that weighing myself one time per week is best for me. I don't want the number on the scale to be considered the only weight loss result of my watching my food intake and increasing my activity level. I can see it in my face, the way my clothes fit, and my attitude when I'm taking care of myself by not overeating…
